So true. It blows my mind what Bike has gone to. Literally feels like AI generated clickbait retitles for already existing content.

re: why coaches don’t hate Whoop The athletes want to use Whoop because it is marketed to them consumer tech and wearables is not my personal preference, but people who want to pay me to tell them what to do aren’t always interested in writing me 600 word summaries of their life stress, mood state, sleep, etc... All i know about Whoop is that it has a decent .api interface with Training Peaks, which is the SAAS platform that most coaches are using to build and monitor programs for athletes that are in established endurance sports with a “tech ecosystem”...

Nigel Page just put a goodbye and thanks post on Instagram. I find this super sad, as he is one class act as a human being. I read this as in ”hopes were still on until the last moment”. I can't wish him and the team anything else but the best. I want to add one more thing here: I met Pagey 22 years ago at the Worlds. He was injured and watched the races from the side and somehow I ended up talking to him. Being the kid in love with racing that I was and still am, I...

Which likely proves the idea that people will overlook a ton of issues if the coverage is inexpensive and easy to access (and for some... includes Rob Warner).

Y'all are missing something very obvious- Bruni's jersey is SO TIGHT that he can't breathe, and that's why his heartrate is as low as it is...

Tasmania Hardline track is 2.3km long, same as Snowshoe, Val Di Sole, Andora and others, Fort Bill is close to 3km. Granted there is less open sections to allow a panning shot. I'm betting the highway section will be covered by a drone or rider GoPro at Hardline. A drone covered these sections at the world cups in 2023. Key...

Bruni will go down as one of the GOAT's, Finn has the potential but time will tell. 0% affiliated with UCI, Discovery, WB etc. If anything I have more personal and business contacts with non UCI, Disco etc. businesses. I simply see the constant bashing (some warranted, most not) of the current organisers tiresome and am happy to point out...

6 times World Champion, 16 World Cup wins and 3 time World Cup overall, I would lean towards the freak side.

Maydena put their hand up to host another EDR/EWS and a DH Round in 2024 but was asked to focus on 2025 as many team budgets are maxed in 2024 and the cost of getting to Tasmania was going to push the friendship. Also traditionally the EWS came to NZ/Tasmania every second year so its not unheard of.

Just some broad commentary to add here - whenever looking at year/year sales graphs or tables, its not the worst idea to go back to pre-COVID just to see what linear regression may have otherwise drawn if COVID didn't happen. In many cases we're seeing things track back to an average of sorts if you equalize for "all the demand that was pulled forward". Its not perfect math, but its worth noting for those who are looking for "what does normal/baseline" look like?

Redbull TV cant even show the Hardline racing live. The RB TV "Live Event" starts at 6pm local Tasmanian time which is 1:30 hours after the racing is finished (scheduled to run from 1:00pm - 4:30pm). This delay will give them time to edit the package for TV. Imagine the hate if Discovery decided to delay the telecast of the...

Meh, sour grapes from Brook. They didn't do a "Breaking" post for every ride/rider/signing. Get over it. And if you really want people to talk about you win some races or a championship?
