Hey guys, Sorry, only just discovered this thread! We decided not to broadcast the team rumours as we thought it was too soon. The last thing we want is to damage a rider's current season or a future opportunity. Before we broke the Minnaar to Norco story last year I spoke with Greg to check that if we published it wasn't going to **** it up for him. I think once the season's finished it should be cool. Apologies for the volume of the beeps, everything goes through a compressor so I thought they shouldn't be too loud

Team Lapierre Gravity Republic was the 1st team, when Lapierre pulled the sponsorship he approached Specialized and the rest is history. 8/15/2024 11:55pm There are very few " factory teams" run by the brand. Many brands pay an agency / private team owner to run their "factory" team. Commencal Muc-off is owned and run by the Ruffin brothers, Gaëtan and Thibaut (Riding Addiction), who manage the team and riders.

Fixed team colors with 2 special outfits for worlds/home race - cool Fixed number boards for top dogs - Like! Continental series, this has a lot of potential to be awesome and provide more viewing, but could also be a let down if not given the support and recognition it will require - This could be the answer to everyone's "we want more races" without stressing the current scene too much. MORE IMPORTANTLY - give us a reliable and decent WORLDWIDE streaming platform to actually watch the races please!

Went to read the current rules and highlighted them below. Nothing about the team stuff has changed - it has been 15+5, and will continue to be. Rest your pitchforks on that. Protected riders going away good or bad, I don't know, I suppose the current top riders will have to put a bit more effort into qualies? The team kit color stuff has always excluded DH teams, guess they added DH back in. Nothing else really, Top 50 or National winner or continential top 3 whatever can compete makes sense - they want only the top athletes competing in...

I think it's WBD that are behind these changes, rather than the UCI (although I guess you can hold them responsible for handing over the reins).
