Couldn't agree more, so many people getting angry about misinformation and conjecture. World Cup racing has been in flux since it's inception. This is just the next change in a long line of changes. Seems to me that the main source of anger on the forums and comments sections is that it's no longer "free" to watch DH racing. But for those of use who have paid to watch the DH racing (especially the womens) has been some of the best ever. What I gather from this forum is that the World Cup should be free to enter for anyone...

It is, Dolomites are incredibly beautiful. Also tracks are fantastic, S1 is just magic, didnt ride S2, S3 ridgeline is crazy exposed, middle part is a bit beaten natural trail and lower part is again perfect loamer (at least it was last year). S4 is okayish bikepark and the last one is again natural tech. Canazei is a part of Sellaronda (Sella circle) which takes you around Sella mountain and it can be traversed in summer by bike and in winter by skis, pretty much whole day alpine adventure with crazy views. One weekend in early summer they just close...

Quite a few questions in there but will try to cover most of them. -Gondola is available for pedestrians but priority is given to racer, team staff,media,marshals etc and you have to pay about 35$ cdn for an adult or 70$ for a family with 2 kids . Exactly! They are a couple, both are top contenders for a win on any given day, and she crashed out within 20 meters of the spot where Finn crashed 2 hours earlier. The inset video of her reaction was very small relative to the main action on the screen. It wasn't bad at all, and in fact would be standard practice in damn near every other sporting broadcast globally.
