12/4/2024 4:15am The dual slalom was postponed at Whistler this year due to a terrible track. If they cant get that track right (which is relatively easy) they have no chance of building a pro level 4X track.

Both the NZ and Australian events are bank rolled by the local tourism boards...

Because unlike road cycling, historical there's no rider movement in MTB during the "transfer window". New teams are not finalised until January 15th each year. Therefore most riders contracts (along with marketing commitments) run until Dec 31st or even first week of Jan. So there's your answer

a lot of the shake-up on the XC side is because its a post-olympics year. nino isn't moving since its his last season.

Exactly, it's pretty cringey that a bunch of grown-ass men are dragging this kid on the internet just because an anonymous rumor says his parents are kicking in some cash to give him a chance to chase his dream. The kid obviously has some talent and happens to have parents with higher than average means. How is this different than sending your kid to an elite ski academy? Reece on Gamux is exciting - gonna get that $100k!

Bike park to train at, 10% tax on income for residents and companies, no sales tax (with only 4.5% VAT), no inheritance, estate or transfer tax and no tax paid on Andorran investment income all make it an attractive place to live.
