+2 for me, big big agree. But I’m still waiting for those sweet, sweet slideshows to make a return. Or maybe I just need a Spotify link to that low-tempo, bass-forward track that accompanied the slideshows, so I can cue it up and scroll… Spomer can you make that happen and bring back the old timey feels?

I think it’s part of doing your own research to build your team. If you are considering a rider then it’s not too hard too look at there socials to see if they are at the race, how they might to do based on past and recent results etc. IF any thing it’s probably more engaging and makes people look into more of the bottom of there team. That does come with the element that riders may not make it past qualies but that’s gambling. Picking after qualies is just looking at who’s running good that weekend and ranking them.

He qualifies to race anyway, regardless of the wildcard.

Martin has done this before with TWR (Neko, Brannigan, Leov, Laurie, and G willy), YT Mob (Neko, Angel, and Dak), and Frameworks (Angel). Also, Specialized Gravity operates in a similar manner. Pure Agency runs the team and reps Loic and Finn (maybe all riders)

And I agree Hardline’s not a real race.

If they let someone like Sam Hill enter at the cost of an upcoming rider fighting for a spot then I would definitely have an issue with that, but otherwise I wouldn't have a problem with granting an extra entry for certain "legends" being able to turn up - it would bring more attention to the race and I feel like those people have more than proven they wouldn't be showing up just to make up the numbers. Who's going to complain if Sam Hill was given a spot - look how much attention he got at hardline! I certainly...

I wish they would be able to bring in more top world cup contenders, though I understand that not everyone is willing to take the risk. If you see Hardline as a race, then there's only 3.5 actual contenders for the win on the men's side - Jackson/Asa/Ronan, and maybe Bernard on a good day but I don't think he's really up to speed with the first 3. The features and gnar is interesting to watch, but actual race runs are...less exciting until the last couple contenders. Probably an unpopular opinion I guess.

Alternatively ! Get all your mates together and split the costs - I believe with the expensive option you have access to 5 screens at a time.. so roughly $6 a month - this requires friends though so I can’t take advantage of this hack
