7/31/2025 5:12pm Honestly, nobody really has a lifetime sponsorship deal... Your sponsorship will only last as long as the company sees value in what you are doing... So, if you aren't getting coverage via race or contest results, you'd better get good at being a content creator...

7/26/2025 4:22am I do like the practice and the pre-race footage. The problem imo, is that none of it builds up to the actual race, which is a snoozefest until the last 2 riders come down.

7/7/2025 2:58am Great track great race great broadcast. I don’t feel like I missed anything, we saw everything that happened, no? AG didn’t appear 5 seconds up after a minute of off-screen chainless pumping, crashing contenders all blew up right in front of us, and that follow drone was actually sick (JG’s boostor triple seemed enough to win it, a singular move that could’ve added up to that 0.6seconds). Solid outing from all. A fine show. The maybe we’re gonna sorta weather delay was suspect, but that’s about it. They slotted Pinkerton into a new start time right away (and told us...

7/3/2025 4:30pm If two people can comfortable hit it and it comes with a huge time advantage it gets to the point that the entire field has to take massive risks to be competitive. The Jr's are just that, Jr's. They are not professionals and outside of a very select few I bet most are not getting a paycheck. Closing one feature will have zero effect on the racing for the weekend...... Having to chopper a rider or two off the course during practice will have a big effect on everyones race weekend.

6/25/2025 4:48am The problem with other ways to get race experience for US juniors is there are no tracks as steep and technical as in Europe. So for a US junior it would take a ton of money and time to get to Europe and learn the steepness and the technicality where the European Jrs live there and have easy access. I know for myself, if my son had not been on a factory team as a junior, the transition to elite would have been very difficult without near the success. I think at least for the US riders who now have...

6/25/2025 4:43am I haven't listened to this particular podcast yet, but Andrew neethling is a fooking idiot. He's never not putting his foot in his mouth. Like constantly stomping his own footb down his throat. I only listen to his drivel for milway and Sven. It's remarkable how out to lunch he is given his relatively illustrious DH career?

6/12/2025 5:35am Sadly Lorraine Truong has passed away. The Swiss Enduro and DH mountain bike rider who in July 2015 crashed hard during an Enduro World Series. Unfortunately, it wasn't her first crash on the head and her brain didn't recover. Through adaptive sports Lorraine started with WCMX (wheelchair motocross, understand wheelchair in a skatepark) and then learnt to sit ski. She...

6/11/2025 5:27am If you listen to the latest Downtime podcast, it was Neko who invited Ken and set up the whole thing. I can't help but feel that people are in the habit now of only seeing everything from a purely negative perspective - maybe we could all get a grip and stop whinging 100% of the time...
