Yes. They have everything you need to bolt them to XT brakes except the bleed block. (and the SRAM caliper adapter if you’re using one)

Welp, the Maven Bronze calipers were out of stock everywhere so I got some Silvers and tried it with the Shimano BH90 banjo bolt and it bolted up perfectly. (using XT levers) The SRAM blue banjo seals are huge and fit in the Shimano banjo fitting just fine. Comparing them to the tiny Shimano ones I'm wondering how the Shimano ones ever worked! I used SRAM mineral oil to eliminate factors that would cause issues. It's nice to know the SRAM mineral oil is higher viscosity than Shimano too. (only problem is the price, classic SRAM) Piston massage was a...

Fazu ride60 tq60 etc is the sweet spot. For mountain biking. This big power stuff is not good. Just get a moto and go ride moto trails.

I've never bled Mavens, but I did a bleed with 3 sets of TRP's using the Maxima fluid (its what I had and they said it was compatible). Had nothing but problems getting consistent lever feel (NEVER had that problem with TRP's before) and if the lever was pulled while vertical on bike rack or shuttle trailer they would pull...

Thanks! I would be very curious how a set of formula brakes with 9mm master cylinder (instead of 10mm) and also with a few more threads cut on the reach adjust to allow more range of adjustment, would stack up against the Mavens etc. The brakeace was interesting to try but they only had the clunky android app at the time I used it. After a couple weeks with the system my takeaway was that regardless of the brakes you are using, you always end up using similar braking power. For example I had very similar data between the Lewis...

Ran HR3's front and rear with cushcore all season last year on the east coat in pretty much every condition imaginable. Feel great in the deep mid summer dust at mountain creek and killington, and hooked up very well in VT loam and mud. In drier conditions they can wear pretty quickly especially with exposed jagged rocks, and might seen some rippage on the bottoms of the knobs. On hardback they can be a bit draggy but the knobs don't squirm as much as expected and are suitable for highspeeed jump trails. Biggest challenge was getting used to the sliding...

Hello brake nerds. I subjected my partner and best friend to a year of brake swaps to get their opinions. We made a low production value video talking about our thoughts. I would also like to contribute some brake info because I actually took the time to disassemble and measure the master cylinder diameters. Really interesting how different the Lewis and Hayes feel with identical hydraulic specs. Lever geometry, leverage curve, return spring rate, seal friction, and pad compound all add up. Also I feel like formula would make a few running changes and be competing with the top dogs...

I just ordered some of the e*thirteen Mid Spike tires for the wet weather. Were deep into it currently plus I have alot of plans for riding Snowshoe this summer and it always rains there. Was planning on picking up some Shortys but these were too good of a deal to not try.

I have tried this, but they were secondhand old xt deore levers and they were leaky AF. Tried to resurrect them with after market seal kits by no cigar. Ended up buying Zrace levers and they are a fantastic combo with the DB8 calipers

Asking for some thoughts, I'm considering an ebike that comes stock with the new 4 piston XT brakes. My current ebike has TRP dhr's and I love them, I've had XT's in the past and liked them but the wandering bite point and PITA bleed have me kind of turned off on them, then Vital's own Jason Schroeder says they're a step down from Maven's, TRP's etc. Is that the consensus from others who have ridden the new XT's? Would love to give the new Hope's a run, heard many good things about them.
