I designed this so happy to answer any questions on it. Its actually as stiff as the stock countercycle mount (probably stiffer with the 4 points of contact at the fork) carbon reinforced plastics are pretty stiff with the right infill and wall thickness, also sometimes you have to use the tools at you disposal, if i owned a cnc Id probably do something different Wink

I think it’s time for more riders and teams to publicly air frustrations. Changes under redbull 80 to 60 (not sure Red Bull was even behind it) Protected riders after Aaron won dropping early. They simply wanted the best riders by standings on the broadcast. Changes under eso Paywall No protection Intro of semis live on YouTube Semis no longer broadcast Semis now a qualifying 2 replay. 60 to 30 men. Not sure we were even hitting the limits in the women’s field most races under redbull. 10 women to 15 women. Entirely new, complicated way of being able to...

Could be a water reservoir to drip onto the rear brake and cool it, this is something I've seen used from time to time by racers over the years. Sounds like the track is hard on brakes, so some cooling might be beneficial. What a contrast from last week when people were having issues with cold brakes.

It would be a huge help if you made a fantasy enduro. It would be great for riders without sponsors and for new riders just starting out. These games provide visibility.

Hey everyone, this is TJ. Tariffs aren't fixed to factory cost, or wholesale or retail. They're calculated based on the specific transaction price. The example we used is accurate for an ecomm purchase, shipped from our warehouse in Canada. If a retailer ordered the same short and we charged them half the price ($100), the same tariff percentage would apply, so tariffs would be $145 for a total cost to the retailer of $245. If the retailer sells that short to a customer and maintains their dollar margin the short would be $345 to the end user - however if...

I think if they want to maintain their gross margin on that pair of bib shorts, that's the calculation. And that's fair enough to a degree; the gross margin factors into all of their accounting and risk calculations, i.e. if your cost price more than doubles, but you elect to simply maintain your gross profit at the same level it was before, the cost of making that profit more than doubles and that's an increased risk to the business. Edit: How the risk of now having to convince your customers to spend $490 on a $200 pair of bib shorts...

As someone who frequently lurks in this thread, I would love to see more moderation of the off-topic replies. I know threads are frequently spun off this one (like tires), but some of the frequent posters in the last month have never contributed to the topic at hand, other than to share their opinions and anecdotes. LAME!

Wyn Masters posted video of Samara Maxwell coming into the finisher's corral after taking the victory in XCO with the caption along the lines of "Come on UCI, let them celebrate." because the UCI officials very awkwardly start bustling around her, shepherding her and the other finishers elsewhere, making them pick up their bikes, etc.. etc.. when the team/family is trying to hug them at the finish line. I wish I had the video still, as it's pretty uncomfortable to watch.

Speeding cars are normally caught by speed cameras or cops with radar guns, doubt that there are going to be cops on trails checking the bikes. The fact that bikes have speed restriction and cars do not is a puzzle in this day and age.

In the meantime, I have an incoming factory order of a couple thousand mtb pants that are going to be hit with an additional 26% tariff, for 53.9% total import tax. India. That would be all fine and good, if: 1: I thought consumers would be wiling to pay 26% more. LOL. 2: Tariffs would hold at 53.9%. They won't, so I'll be in a permanent hole on this year's inventory. These import taxes will roll away within a few months. Businesses need a predictable environment in which to operate. If I knew the tariffs would actually be permanent and...

Hi y'all, Longtime reader, though I rarely post. Some context I run a small non-bike company in Sheridan, WY. We make a ton in house, import a little, and outsource a bunch to other companies in the US. We do about 40% of our sales in Canada. These tariffs will put the brakes on the entire economy. My business is well positioned to make 100% of our product in the US, which would seemingly be a boon for us. But who is going to be able to buy it? Will our customers in Canada want to buy our products at...
