Just to preface this post, I did ride a bike this weekend :D With that out of the way, I've managed to stuff hours of racing screen time in. BMX world cup round 1 from Rotorua (on Max, the sports extension is no additional charge for a limited time) and Supercross round 6 from Glendale (on Peacock). What's that got to do with mountain biking? That's my question. The BMX coverage is really surprising to me. They don't mention the sponsors. When they talk about the racers, the biography is nationality, race results in national series, previous would cup results...

It’s not as bad as ebike racing but there should be mandatory pond crossings either way

C'mon guys...weird discussion really If you use political correctness as a way of critique against someone, you're missing the point. If a rider gets a contract or not, is down to team owners. In times of Internet, there are many different reasons to hire a rider or not, and they're not always related to the rider him/herself. But that's not really up to you. That leaves the question: what do you gain from hating publicly on someone you don't even know. And even worse, hiding behind a username at the same time. Just try and find a better pasttime, it'll...

Regarding suspension, except Leitner, you also have to think about Jim Busby of GT, as the RTS was probably the first mass produced full suspension bike that actually worked. Then came the LTS, which was popular for good reason, and the i-Drive, that was maybe the first effort to properly isolate suspension movement from the transmission, as early as 1999. GT have videos regarding this on their YouTube channel. Robert Reisinger of Mountain Cycle made the San Andreas, which was way ahead of its time, and of course you have Jeff Steber of Intense, who created the M1. Mert Lawwill's...

Elecronon and Condyles are D&D characters. A mage and like…an innkeeper or something. They’re not bones or body parts. AG did roll for damage, so it makes sense. Elecronon and Condyles.

No offense to Chris Cocalis and the Pivot team, but it really always was just about Pivot being a bunch of weirdos. Not even joking: The real reason Pivot started using 157 Superboost on the 2017 Switchblade was to be able to fit a 27,5x2.8" plus-size tire into a frame with extremely short chainstays, while also having a front derailleur. That's the real reason. Because in 2017 they still thought plus tires, short chainstays and front derailleurs were the future of mountainbiking.

“ MoscoOne wrote: Katy couldnt fill in her forms properly.“ Making fun of a rider for having dyslexia, particularly when they have very recently addressed publicly that it’s a hard thing for them to be open about due to teasing and bullying, is just truly low behaviour and is not appropriate on this forum or anywhere else. If this is something you would do, or think is acceptable, please fuck off.

There’s no place for that attitude here, I suggest you quieten down or find positive things to say. Straight up, people are losing their livelihoods this year and they’re going to be in turmoil, put yourself in their shoes and be kind or keep your hate in that thick skull.
