Long time lurker, first time poster here… Have noticed that PFR no longer follow Jake Jewett on IG but do follow Vinny Armstrong, Heather Wilson, Dani Castellanos and Harry Schofield. They only follow 23 profiles and 18 of those are sponsors/media/mechanics/current team plus still following Dane and Teagan. So maybe some potential there? Side note though… Apologies for the off-topic but I feel it’s worth a mention. Ryan Griffith seems like a top sportsman. The only PFR member that I’ve seen consistently stoked for everyone in the comments on all the posts, Pivot and beyond. An asset to the sport.

It must be hard for athletes who have to be outwardly “stoked” on their new sponsor when they are forced to give up a bike that offered a competitive advantage. Tahnee going from that new Canyon to a bike that doesn’t even exist yet must be painful. It would be cool to hear a podcast on the ones that got away - thinking Gwin and his intense, Athertons with Trek, Greg with Honda and Sam Hill and his Iron Horse 😢

From what I've heard - they're running a little extra above and then down into the park trails for '25, but '26 they'll have a track off the Sunrise (I think?) lift which is getting replaced. They may potentially still build the track they have planned this year and shuttle riders up, just depends on budgets. Nothing really will be decided place until April/May when things start to dry out.

You know how rich dorks move into the cool neighborhood and then start complaining about the nightclub’s noise and the neighborhood starts sucking and becomes lame and they’re all looking around like what? That’s what this feels like. Union embodied the passion that truly drives the sport. Their whole thing was to help, not to earn. Pricing them out is not better for anyone.

I won't spill the tea, but ten minutes of Googling and following the breadcrumbs relating to "OG Bikeworks" yields some pretty intriguing stuff – interesting previous employers, patents, failed Kickstarters, etc. In any case, wireless dropper conversions seem like a good idea. I hope a dialed implementation of the concept comes to market.
