That’s as safe as betting that the Tech Rumors thread will be derailed in the next half hour.

Guys and gals, one less post ride beer will do what a $1k drivetrain can't do. Chill, and go ride your bikes (though maybe not today if you're in the heat zone)

I typically use the climb switch once per ride. I like to turn it on halfway up the climb when I remember I have it and might as well use it. I tend to turn it off halfway down the descent when I’m puzzling over why my suspension isn’t working. I suspect I am not in the minority.

The electronic suspension/high pivot/stand up and pedal convo is the dumbest thing to happen to tech rumors in a long time. Banal, illogical, myopic.

UCI Enduro World Cup: Pugin and Botteram Master Conditions at Val di Fassa-Trentino Storm-hit racing in the Dolomites reshaped the third round of the UCI Enduro World Cup. Mélanie Pugin claimed a long-awaited maiden victory with a standout technical performance. Tristan Botteram sealed a dramatic win by less than a second. Harper Nelmes and Nežka Libnik added to the weekend’s drama in the Junior races. Speed Project also extended their dominance in the team standings. Final Day Highlights The third round of the UCI Enduro World Cup marked the season’s first two-day race. However, wet weather and stormy conditions in...

Do any industry insiders have any insight on why us consumers only get fully automatic electronic suspension? I just want a button on my handlebars to switch between pre-defined modes. I feel like this was the obvious first step in electronic suspension and is just much simpler over all from an R&D cost perspective too. It would be easier to market in the modern world of flow and jump lines in trail systems/bike parks that also include natural trails. Open for tech, firm for jumps. Not to mention the general sour sentiment on AI. Even though the suspension is using...

And technically I posted about gearbox emoto’s too. Sometimes I like to trigger e-bikers by calling them dirt bikes. And yeah. Those are both “DUMB BIKE PROBLEMS” like fit and hub pawls and the occasional flat tire

I'm curious.. How does the staff feel about doing the coverage like this? I've personally liked it. Plus, the fact that others have been able to contribute what they saw and liked at the otter is pretty cool...

Samox Samox had new hollow forged cranks (HRO - hollow reinforced optimization) on display for trail and DH applications. The TM1 Gold crank lengths are 155, 160 and 165mm while DH Golds come in 155 and 160. The DUB interface cranks will only set you back $225. The 7075 CNC'd chain rings are available in a variety of sizes and will run about $60. At the front of the booth was Jason Richardson's XX steel belt drive prototype, too.

I prefer to see this years' oldschool DS to be honest.. Start with a grass track and let the tires cut in the lines. I'd rather see pros get loose and highlight cornering skills on some grass jank than deathgrip a groomed bike park berm for the hundredth time. More in the spirit of the discipline.

Psychosis Welding Class Project Not bad for a welding class project! 60-degree static head angle is the play with the philosophy of it living at around 62-63 degrees at sag and cruising up to 66 at bottom out. "I welded the rear end, but my friend, who's a way better welder than me did the headtube. I didn't want that to fail."

Hey all, I can finally take off my very sneaky blue tape camouflage to reveal that yes, I’m reviewing the new Nomad. Because I’ve spent so many years on the old Megatower, I’m framing this as a Megatower vs. Nomad comparison. Especially interesting for me because of the rumors that the Megatower is going away and the new Nomad does not take 29” rear wheels. I only have a couple rides in on the new bike, but so far the geometry feels really good and the bike feels solid and stout. Weirdly I haven’t been able to figure out the...
