I'm curious.. How does the staff feel about doing the coverage like this? I've personally liked it. Plus, the fact that others have been able to contribute what they saw and liked at the otter is pretty cool...

Samox Samox had new hollow forged cranks (HRO - hollow reinforced optimization) on display for trail and DH applications. The TM1 Gold crank lengths are 155, 160 and 165mm while DH Golds come in 155 and 160. The DUB interface cranks will only set you back $225. The 7075 CNC'd chain rings are available in a variety of sizes and will run about $60. At the front of the booth was Jason Richardson's XX steel belt drive prototype, too.

I prefer to see this years' oldschool DS to be honest.. Start with a grass track and let the tires cut in the lines. I'd rather see pros get loose and highlight cornering skills on some grass jank than deathgrip a groomed bike park berm for the hundredth time. More in the spirit of the discipline.

Psychosis Welding Class Project Not bad for a welding class project! 60-degree static head angle is the play with the philosophy of it living at around 62-63 degrees at sag and cruising up to 66 at bottom out. "I welded the rear end, but my friend, who's a way better welder than me did the headtube. I didn't want that to fail."

Hey all, I can finally take off my very sneaky blue tape camouflage to reveal that yes, I’m reviewing the new Nomad. Because I’ve spent so many years on the old Megatower, I’m framing this as a Megatower vs. Nomad comparison. Especially interesting for me because of the rumors that the Megatower is going away and the new Nomad does not take 29” rear wheels. I only have a couple rides in on the new bike, but so far the geometry feels really good and the bike feels solid and stout. Weirdly I haven’t been able to figure out the...

Ya know, I'm changing my tune about 32" wheels. I don't really have all that much interest in owning a 32" bike, and I fully expect most, if not all of the first 32" bikes to not be in my wheelhouse... But right now, I'd kill for anything that isn't related to an ebike to read about. Never before have I yearned to digest some bike stuff that just involved the measly 250w that I struggle to put out. So... bring on the 32" content please, I am primed and ready for it.

The Phoenix has over 20mm of rear axle displacement, so the shortish chainstays make sense when they’re 13-17mm longer at sag. If they’re lengthening the chainstays, I wonder if they are also reducing the rearward movement. We’ve seen other brands reduce it such as Commencal Supreme V4 vs V5.

The 203 is a remanent of when we measured rotors in inches going back to the OG Hayes days. 203 = 8"
