Definitely very very pricey! And not excusing the cost, but I'm glad to see so many features incorporated all over the frame, and a nice Airtag/Tile integration feature to help you recover your $5000 frameset 😅

With chainstays that long, can it fit a 32" wheel?

1.79 in L and 1.82 in XL is sooooo rad! Bums me out stack (and head tube) is so tiny, STA is slack, and leverage aint the best for coil. Other than that, the bike is pretty dang awesome!

@Jason_Schroeder Are you able to allude to the timeline for the shorter travel version of this bike? The LT looks amazing and ticks almost every box that I want in a new bike, except Travel, I just don't need a full blown Enduro bike anymore. A 130-140 version of this bike would be perfect. Also, any plans to test the LT with a coil shock?

I did not expect an XL Yeti to come with 465mm chainstays in the short setting.

As someone who's won and lost bike races, I think there's something to be said for that old saying. When I was racing, I always kept that phrase in mind when I was processing my nerves about a high risk section, especially the gnarly gaps that only the gnarliest riders were doing in practice. Hitting all the gnarly lines is a great way to win practice, but at Andorra, for instance, Jackson Goldstone was the only rider that I saw doing that super gnarly gap in the bottom third of the track (same rock section where Amaury ate shit and...

In all seriousness, I’d like to see what/how good a 2026 2x8 drivetrain would be if sram or shimano put some serious resources into development.

Three gears in the front and seven in the back could be the perfect ratio for mountain biking! It's almost like it would give you three different gear "ranges" using the front shifter- one for climbing, one for descending, and one for everything in between. And the chain alignment could be so much straighter without having to pack all your gears onto one super wide cassette. I wonder why no one's thought of that yet? I can't think of any downsides.

What if all the gears were in a container in the middle of the bike by your feet?

What if we tried putting a small derailleur on the front cogs, may be just like 2-3 gears, then a 5-7 speed cassette on the rear with another smaller derailleur? Same ratios but better weight distribution?

Why haven't we seen more bikes with that Lal Supre Drive? I'd much rather have that than gear box or regular derailleur if I could have something that wasn't a short travel bike or a 40 lb nicolai.

I would dare to guess that people who struggle with derailleur damage are riding right foot forward. I ride with left foot forward and right foot is effectively protecting the mech, it also makes me more aware of potential obstacles that could hit it, because I don't want to hit the rear pedal with it either.

Why don’t DGI just spec electronic suspension to cancel out the inefficiency of gearboxes, are they stupid?
