Re: Neken stem Sometimes more is more, sometimes it's not. We all want a more comfortable and controlled ride. To that end, many riders want to add all the suspension: tires, rims, spokes, chassis, stem, bar, grips, gloves. The problem is that not all of it is effective at the same frequency or amplitude, and those that act on the same frequency and amplitude are not always of the same quality. For example, imagine if you wanted to create a DH set-up. You could take two XC air springs and dampers and just stack them on top of each other...

"Man, it's rough out there on the track today. I either need to add some high speed compression, bump up my fork pressure, add some low speed compression, add a token, pump up my tires, add a front tire insert, raise my bars, or increase the psi in my stem suspension. One or the other, I think."

Makes total sense. Being a part of the whole motobro big truck culture (no judgement, I'm a southerner) has to be a little weird in a place like Southern California. Montana and Tenner seem like much better fits for someone like Gwin. Also: I imagine that having two houses in Montana and Tenn is way more sustainable as he starts a family than one massive house in California. On top of that, his days of million dollar contracts aren't going to last forever (if they even still exists). He needs to be setting himself up for the long term now...

Waiting with the tested vaccine and risking infection with a virus, that can easily destroy your lungs, among other things? I mean it does make sense to wait, but only if you're taking ALL precautions to prevent infection as well. Traveling around the world is hardly that :/ UAE Emirates team was, apparently, vaccinated in january 2021. You know, the team of the two time Tour de France winner Smile https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/uae-team-emirates-given-covid-19-vacci… https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/uae-team-emirates-taking-no-chances-wi… I'm not sure they would gain much by claiming this and faking it behind the scenes to be honest. Even more so by taking the Sinopharm vaccine (which...

Unlike dictator Griz who has been watching too much CNN, I feel any aspect of a racer's medical health aught to be made by the racer. I also think it's absolutely ridiculous to mandate such medical requirements when it's neither been proven safe or effective. I'm seeing way too many first hand complications (specifically heart related issues) from young and healthy individuals that statistically would have been fine had they acquired their immunity naturally by contracting COVID. We've turned this into a much larger mess than it needed to be. If you want the vaccine, get the vaccine. If you...

This is the first ebike to start me thinking about actually buying one. 2 of my friends have the carbon Rise and it is an insane bike, but so expensive. This looks like the best bang for the buck e-bike.

Also burning gas and probably at least a little rear wheel spin. I have no issues whatsoever with that, but my guess is the people who hate e-bikes hate your KLX even more. Ooops! Woohoo Grinning

At first glance the YT Decoy MX Core 4 looks like a dream machine. A downhill bike that can be pedaled uphill? Could it be that our dreams have finally come true? As we dug further into YT's mixed-wheel e-bike, we found there was more nuance to be explored. We've spent months exploring the west with this consumer-direct eMTB and are ready to share the full rundown on how the YT held up. Highlights Carbon frame 29-inch front wheel // 27.5-inch rear 165mm (6.50-inches) rear-wheel travel // 170mm (6.69-inches) fork travel Virtual Four Link suspension design Internal cable routing Powerswitch...

Has nothing to do with ebikes. Morons are morons no matter what they ride. We have guys who will come out and cut in straight lines with tools.

After giving up a lot of time in a super techy climbing stage, Sam Hill went on to win 7 out of the 14 stages of the EWS-E Tweed Valley to secure his first podium spot in the discipline. We don't know if Sam plans to do more of these, or whether it might give us an indication that his struggles in the regular EWS series this year could be due to a physical issue (alleviated by an e-bike, conceivably). Anyway, we just wanted to leave this here... Vittoria EWS-E Tweed Valley saw the series conclude in savage conditions amongst...

people hating on ebike racing, clearly missing the point its far harder on the body going down on these, the struggle of moving these heavy things around really take its toll. Saying ebike racing is bs is like saying you hate motor racing because flintstone racing is better. People who hate on ebikes A: cant afford it, B: jealous, C: already fit and just being arrogant, D: ride lift access and the biggest one E: Refuse to admit ebikers have far more fun when they do 3 x the laps your "analog" bike does, ebikers will also tend to ride...

Adrien Dailly said it was way more physical than a regular EWS in the last Wyn TV. Wether that's true or not I do think an EWS E is no joke with it being three loops and 14 stages of racing. In the end I think it just shows what ebikes excel at compared to mtbs: you can go harder uphill (power stage) and you can simply go longer and farther.
