I recently got the new Dissector v2 (MaxTerra EXO 2.4WT) aka baby Assegai and it is exactly something I always dreamt of for a short travel trail bike (140/130). I use my small bike for XC type riding in the rockies. Conditions are usually very dry, loose dirt and loose rock on top of hardpack. The side knobs are wide yet not too tall. This makes them very stable and gives you that DHF level locked in feeling during hard cornering. Lack of side knob stability was my main complaint with Forekaster v2 and this solves that. The center tread...

I know that today courses with alot of flow and huge jumps are the thing but I would love to see an all natural track come back. 2009 and 2010 Gravity East Series courses at Whiteface where winning pro time was 7+ minutes. Ask Neko how taxing these courses were! No machine work needed!

So stoked! Thank you so much vital and @sspomer for putting together the league. And thanks to the companies who’ve put up prizes.

New rankings are out and Goodman has dropped to 18th. They’ll probably stay in that range after losing Pontvianne for the rest of the season. Rogue stayed at 15th after not scoring points in the last round. I could see Giant catching them as Rogue lost Simon Chapelet for the year and Daprela has a shoulder injury of some sort, didn’t start the worlds final or at Lenzerheide Scott could sneak into the top 15 depending on the YT situation. Outside chance FW gets in but tough with Asa only getting junior points. If he wins out that’s only 120...

If you're risking your life at 10-12 downhill races per year, you get to celebrate any way you choose. That's it. I get it, it's a forum, but anyone trying to police finish line behavior really is, "an old cunt". Even if you're young. We are living in the golden age of gravity. Peak bikes, peak coverage (ok, arguable, but drones are way fun), and peak riding. And most importantly: peak riders. Between Zanna and Jackson there's a ton of great stories, attitudes, riding styles, and results. I loved Aaron winning everything for those 5 or so years, but as...

If you want fast rolling with a good sidewall you could try a Schwalbe Wicked Will SuperTrail. The SuperTrail casing is more supportive than EXO+. It only comes in their SpeedGrip compound, which is firm and long lasting. Fun tire for all-day missions in the dry. I do wish they had it in Soft (aka not that soft).

I know a lot of people like to cr*p all over UCI, but I think changing to the Q1/Q2 thing and doing away with the Protected status have contributed to making this an incredibly exciting season. Now, if they (by they, I mean the broadcasters) would just consider streaming the Elite qualifying rounds and Youtubing the Junior finals next season .... I'm really amped for this week's race and the last 2 races.

Lenzerheide coming up this week. Last European stop before they head to North America to close out the season. The top 2 spots in both the men's and women's Elite standings are pretty close, with less than 75 points separating 1st and 2nd in each. Goldstone: He's having an epic year, obviously. He won Lenzerheide twice as a Junior and finished 6th in his only race there as an Elite. Bruni: Has 1 win at this track (2018), with 5 podiums in 7 races there. Höll: 2 wins as a Junior, but no wins as Elite in Lenzerheide. Best finish...

9/14/2025 11:53am There was early critic what relying to wild cards would mean in terms of attracting sponsors to the team. As seen on WynTV for example teams like Rogue Racing and maybe Goodman SC hardly know if they can afford to race the whole season.

Just a buncha butthurt Yankees in here. Finding it hard to celebrate a young Canuck on top of the game. The irony is that if Jackson were American, those same butt hurt yanks would be being obnoxiously chanting ooo-rah USA! USA! with hand guns blasting in the air
