I know that today courses with alot of flow and huge jumps are the thing but I would love to see an all natural track come back. 2009 and 2010 Gravity East Series courses at Whiteface where winning pro time was 7+ minutes. Ask Neko how taxing these courses were! No machine work needed!

Not sure what organization ORDA has set up - DH coordinator, trail crew etc. Does anybody know or have any contact info.

Not a problem to build a WC DH race course in 1 year. Much easier than building sustainable bike park trails. Lay it out now and finish construction in the spring. Just need the right people.

We ran DH races at Whiteface as part of the GES series 2007-2010 when the bike park was operational. The 2009 and 2010 races the times were 8 minutes plus with a few pros getting under 8 minutes(Neko Mulally won Pro with a 7.48)I know that UCI will not want a course that long but the . terrain is there...

Yea, it was a great time - don't understand the hate on the video that was something put together by a couple of the racers. Guess you guys are all Academy Award winning producers/editors.

This topic always winds up being a DS vs 4X argument. I happen to like racing both and there is no reason why they can't coexist but they both suffer from the same problem (4X more so because of the nature of the courses) that there aren't enough permanent courses to race/practice on or grassroots series to develop riders and...
