I've had the Airflex for some years and for me it work well for climbing. It ventilates well in the sides. But for climbing i haven't tried it for more than about 2 hours of riding where i got 6-8 runs in the local bike park. This was in a period when the lift wasn't running. I'm a 48 year...

By my calculations (could be wrong), 18 of the top 20 ranked teams earned their "spot" fair and square. It was only Cube and Yeti, ranked 20th and 21st who got wildcard spots instead of the slightly higher ranked teams of Rouge Racing and Goodman Santa Cruz. Tough times, but alot of stacked teams in there none the less

Joe just dropped this very interesting video, addressing the whole "steel is flexy" thing. The results are probably a bit surprising to some people, but after riding a Murmur for all of 2024 I can attest to the fact that the frame is no "wet noodle" - far from it. I've backchecked this and can't find it. I've even tried Wayback machine as well as to see if there's an old cached version of a website that might have been updated/corrected, but nothing. Google aint no help either. In retrospect i'm wondering if the fourth paragraph in the introduction linked here has been changed?

I've rewatched the runs, Other than the drop, Asa is a smoooooth criminal, I watched a bruni run from last year and they are very similar. Jackson is quite active trying to generate speed due to him being a lil guy 🤣 We Gotta talk about how good Matt jones did and how much hes progressed, what about theo and his Stoke attitude... matt Has really generated a good following lately and watching him progress in Queenstown has been amazing to watch

I read somewhere that for the women winner to get prize money they had to be three to start in the final. If that's true, can someone explain what kind of shit rule that is?

It'll be interesting to see if any of the remaining women try to complete the course in practice on race day morning to unlock access to the finals (provided they still allow that, like they did last year). It certainly looked like a few of them were on track to tick everything off.
