AndehM Added a reply to E-bike talk: not tech rumor derailment

Oh, I've seen that unnatural cadence plenty on the fat lazy riders. But you're not wrong about the Brose motor letting you know what cadence it wants, it definitely would reward spinning in 85-90 rpm range with more efficiency. There are a large number of the average users who are oblivious to the signals though. And yes, those things were...

In 2018/2019, six of us bought Levos/Kenevos. We were all existing mountain bikers since the late 90s, we hardly used turbo because of range, none of us were on the heavier side, and we knew how to change gears. All motors failed.

Thanks all. The EXO+ is what came with the bike but he did manage to tear an EXO in the Rockies last year. I think I might try some slow Mo filming and see what it looks like 😃

I asked my buddy what he sets his kid's tire at. He said: 1psi less than mine, so 18.5/21.5. He runs EXO+, and just got back from a week+ trip to Whistler. The boy is almost 10, and weighs about 90 lbs with gear. I know that last summer they struggled with the kid flatting constantly at Northstar, switching to...

I want to add to the tire rolling resistance convo from a few days ago (missed it because I was riding bikes all week, wtfff). I think the perceived slowness of radial tires is due to the weight. I have the latest Specialized radials. They are slow because they weigh 1300g each. I have another bike with GRID trail casing (~1000g each) Butcher/Eliminator combo (same tread pattern) and a wheelset that weighs ~50g more than the radial tires so I can A/B test this back to back, at the same pressures quite easily (Specialized recommends running your normal pressure on...

@AndehM hear you about width. I realize these are Scwalbe and typically ru n a bit narrower than advertised. I am more concerned about spacing in the rear triangle.
