Lead, lost the lead due to flat tire and incompetent support team, down 38 seconds, came back to win. What a machine

Yeah, I went to checkout the whole course on social media, didn't seem as rad I had hoped for. At least there's some sections that look cool.

I actually like Sram transmission for where I ride. Northeast chunk hits your derailleur at weird times, the direct mount transmission has saved me more than once. I banged the lower cage so bad over many rocks that I replaced it about a year in - now it's perfect again. Before the transmission stuff I was stocking 5+ hangers at...

What are you talking about? You can choose between soooooo many brands. The people who tend to choose the big brands (the ones ditching cables on the high end carbon trail bikes) are the kind of people who don’t want cables on their high end trail bikes. You can choose from so many amazing brands that tick all of your boxes. But I don’t think that’s what any of this has been about: this has been an exercise in shitting on the hot new thing, shitting on big bad business, shitting on “oh no this is different and scary.” Big...

I don't know what the consensus is regarding the Paris XCO track, but two things to say: 1. It's rad that MTB is represented in the Olympics 2. XC is becoming bad ass - this is such a sick shot!

Wonder if he forced Canyon to sign Bronny to a 3 yr World Cup deal based on potential like he did the Lakers?

As someone who's going to be selling their current gen Stumpy Evo in the next year I'm glad to hear Specialized care about my resale value. 😄

The new stumpy makes me extremely happy...about my current stumpy evo! Nothing about the new stumpy makes me "want" it. Even the side strut on the old evo adds a bit of character compared to the new one...

The launch video basically breaks every rule of modern advertising and I love it. "Don't sell the steak, sell the sizzle." "Don't talk about the product." "Customers don't care about specs, they care about experiences." It's just homie talking about the hub specs for 3 minutes, instead of campfire sunset B-roll and talking about the meaning of life with Christopher Walken. So much BS in the marketplace that they're able to be distinct by just being honest engineers who make better products. The narrator looks and sounds like he may have been the engineer who designed it (my brother's an...

Nearly the same still isn't the same. For the best team as presented by vital, you can't take Vali and slot in Bruni - you'd be over budget by 3000 if you do so. No "winners" matter in the choice of the team, it's whatever comes out ahead in terms of points/cash and the one mil budget. If you had...
