So...this is more general than Les Gets, but anyone ever try the Risk Racing remote control Roll Offs. In moto, you can pull a tear off or tug a roll off over jumps & on straightaways.

But in DH, you're never in the air that long.  Would be far better for a DH racer to push a button than risk a hand off.

I am so surprised we dont see these being used by all WC riders, with the way Dak was FAFin about with his tearoffs. I didn't know a company even made one so I was thinking I should make one with a little bluetooth module and little motor.

I thought some companies gave it a go a couple of years back but they worked so badly everyone went back to tear offs, maby with more reliable devices now they would work better.

Want to say Scott & Oakley tried them years ago in moto, but gave up because costs back then were insane & glitches caused canisters to randomly dump the whole roll in a single cycle?  Not even sure at the time if they had bluetooth tech when they tried using motors.

I "think" then they were just motorized. No remote trigger. Button whack on the canister to activate.

The Risk Racing has 2 cool features.
1.  Can clip onto any brands Roll Off since it just actuates the string pull
2.  If battery dies or the bluetooth signal glitches, you can still pull the string like normal. It stays out of the way of manual function.

Having ridden here, I can say it's one of the most fun natural terrain parks you can ride. Basically everything is rocky fall line trail. So good.

Rode Paja this weekend. I can find no lies in your description. I love riding there!

It's a pity Nina is out of the Crankworks DH with a head injury. 😧

Crankworx website has 3:30-6:00 pm as the time for DH finals, does anyone know what time zone that is? Would like to try and make time to watch it live today.

Jackson (on the Crankworx broadcast) just said he'd be back racing "around October".

Danny Hart borrowing a rando's front wheel at the top of the track right before dropping in because of a flat issue is amazing.

"Wow that was a big one for @kyeahern 🤯 but miraculously he’s ok. After some x-rays and CT scans in Vancouver we have confirmation that nothing is broken just a big bruise on his back and pretty banged up! Time for some rest before world champs in Andorra."

What happened to Jesse M?

Were his bars too wide?😉

He burped his front ( if I’m correct) tire and couldn’t push hard on the race run. And I guess the “bar” got wider as the night progressed! Haha

No worries. A successful outing on a heavier bike. Good training for his E edr racing/rumour

I don't know what the consensus is regarding the Paris XCO track, but two things to say:

1. It's rad that MTB is represented in the Olympics

2. XC is becoming bad ass - this is such a sick shot!
