nope, they have fully detachable dropouts that you attach via bolts. It basically replaces the last part of the rear triangle.

People thought Zaugg had left the company, but what actually happened was designers at Scott hid him by integrating him with his desk in the hopes it would provide his office with a cleaner look.

You see, we all want to avoid launching our new products at Sea Otter and being lost in the noise, so we all launch our new products the week before......wait a minute....

My druid v2 s3 mx weighs in at 35.5lb currently w/out the water bottle. 36.5 with water. 38 adds a bit of weight. And I'm putting WAO convergence wheels on and an EXT storia V3 so will be curious to see how the weight changes

Not an expert, but have worked in the industry forever and sat through many product knowledge meetings. Buy a mouth guard and a neck brace.

I can guarantee you that 5mm of real travel would make a difference as there actually is a difference, maybe its slightly more room for bottom out ramp up, run a little more sag and a more progressive tune , or maybe you run everything the same and it just gives you 5 mm more travel and 5mm more breathing room - would it make or break a bike ? No… but if it didn’t have any tangible effect why would yeti make lunch ride additions and why would other brands such as Santa Cruz make bikes that can be...

You don't count from open because of the tolerances. Most (all?) dampers are designed in a way where fully closed is the end stop. So counting from fully closed gives you equal settings across items from the same product line. So 5 clicks from closed is the same on all grip2 38s. With tolerances playing a role it might not be the same when counting 5 clicks from open. Your two cents do have logic behind it but it's sadly somewhat incomplete as it doesn't take the actual product and/or manufacturing it into account. That's the crux of why you...

"Dampener" is the equivalent of putting your fork on backwards. We owe these people a heads up. Whether they choose to listen is their choice. And yes, this is a real image from an issue of Men's Health.

What a depressing set of comments today. Biking is a hobby, people can enjoy it as they wish. Get over yourselves and let people be happy. Complaints about other peoples opinions are not tech rumors.

Not all pros are anal and picky about their setup and just ride what they get. They are simply fast. Some need to tinker to hell and back. It's the same with average riders, some thinker and some just ride. There is no sense to bemoan people that take a different approach to riding. As long as they articulate their feelings and can defend them rationally, it's all good in my book. Same goes for the Yeti vs. Specialized choice, if you can defend the choice of the Yeti by saying "I want what I want" it's much better than...
