Hello Vital MTB Visitor,
We’re conducting a survey and would appreciate your input. Your answers will help Vital and the MTB industry better understand what riders like you want. Survey results will be used to recognize top brands. Make your voice heard!
Five lucky people will be selected at random to win a Vital MTB t-shirt.
Thanks in advance,
The Vital MTB Crew
we may or may not have had to buy a super computer to handle all the data.
At first I thought that what mondraker did releasing their bike early with a "motor we can't talk about" was sort of weird... but now that I've had a look at everything releasing tomorrow... I totally get their strategy. Talk about a sea homogenization.
👀
m2s confirmed as 130nm and a Massive 1300watts of peak power + 1500nm boost. (this was confirmed by release of pivot AMP'd)
To me, Thats huge amount of "over power"
my m1 is already bonkers and I really question the need for such power
how much faster than the legal limit can your car go?
how often do you use it’s maximum power?
ill answer question 2, I cant really - all climb trails around here are unridable in anything more than tour/trail
you drive your car on the climb trails in your local area?
Wasn't expecting that Amflow PR price point.
Ask and thou shalt receive:

Feel like the orbea might be the banger from the lot (absolutely no info but i saw a rallon in person last week and my jaw hit the floor).
Hard for me to not just grab an AMflow PR and upgrade as i go. €4500 for a full carbon bike with ok specs and geo adjustment is incredible...
Orbea waiting for a Seo Otter reveal? Or maybe next week in between Avinoxmas and Sea Otter.
Great pricing too, frame only option with SDU for $2899.
My condolences to everyone who bought a current gen Levo at full price. There's zero chance the prices stay that level with a $5,000 Amflow around. Cheapest alloy Levo is $6,100 and the cheapest carbon Levo is on sale for $8,000 from it's MSRP of $9,200. (bonkers)
Spesh was always dreaming with those prices, I mean even before the Amflow who would choose the Levo over a Vala that costs less? I'm a removable battery absolutist and would still get the Vala over the Levo. Luckily according to Amflow being able to NOT remove your battery quickly is now a luxury lol.
It's actually hard to decide:
- PR with swappable battery and swap it at the truck for big self shuttle days.
- PX with good looks and just use the fast charge plugged into a DJI camping battery at the truck. (0%-80% in 1hr!)
Bravo Amflow you've broken my removable battery dogma.
Looks like I might be forced to buy a DJI bike to replace my relay. 🫤Now I’m just dreaming of a 300-400wh battery to loose some weight for home trail laps.
My dream is a carbon tubed Atherton with titanium lugs and two different sized battery’s. Maybe by the time they are available in the US.
Is it just me or is it to bad that they do not have a 160 or 170 rear travel option with Cat5 (or equivalent) rating. Would be top of my list at that price point.
Does anyone know of a way I could somehow buy just the motor + round battery? I want to build my own bike around an Avinox drive
At least in Germany you can already buy the 700wh battery for 1099€

I heard that the avinox motor itself doesn't have the ASTM5 rating. So there can't be any Avinox bike with ASTM5 rating. Correct me if I'm wrong, just spreading what I heard on MTB-News.de
If you search "Akku" on google for that website, you'd also get:
800wh for 800eur: https://www.amflowbikes.com/de/product/avinox-rs800-battery?from=pages-after-sales-accessories&vid=216981
and 600wh for 600 eur.
(Current prices for Specialized X2 batteries in the USA are are 1300 USD for 600wh and 1700 USD for 840 wh)
If you can find an Avinox dealer willing to purchase them for you, yeah it's possible.
The Avinox portal in the UK had all the old M1 stuff listed but they're struggling with warranty at the moment so I think it's all being kept for that... cracks are appearing.
Very interesting! Commencal gives their frame a cat5 rating, but all avinox builds on the Meta are 160mm vs 170 of the Bosch builds.
Megamo and tge teewing flux aren't a ton more $
Megamo and Teewing are forbidden fruits for the US market.
I looked through the country selector for megamo. They don't list USA but they have an "international" selection.
USD to CAD rate would make the teewing flux with the m2s quite reasonable

Still no new e bike I’m interested in.
I've never bought a full bike internationally, but I have bought 3 frames. I had to send a rear triangle back and that would give me pause purchasing something this expensive that doesn't have local dealer support. But that's me.
Sea Otter will have further reveals…
bosch Got updates at sea otter(16-19) and Ebike days Munich(24-26)
Makes sense. Im interested to hear how all that shakes out with all these bikes and the avinox motors. Still early days but lots of them out there now. Like ski touring gear, i generally wait atleast a year on new products
Drip bikes are the US distributor for Teewing. Real good people right outside of Atlanta.
$4500 frame only is straight up not that bad
Is the Fazua system really that unreliable? 😳
