I'll get home from a ride, riding socks still on, slip on the adidas slides and take the dogs for a walk like a slavic gangster lol

not sure why I like adidas so much, just sort of gravitated towards it. Simple designs with usefulness in mind.

I’ve got the blue shirt and it’s my most prized riding shirt. ///

Dharco doesn’t make helmets, it’s only natural that they’d have a helmet and protection sponsor.

Yeah, I get that. The wife has Dharco. I’m interested in whether BK spent his own money on a TLD lid so he wouldn’t be giving Leatt any press, or if he has a TLD helmet deal.

Its an interesting one with Bernard and sort of the hate around him, even if he is a lot different off camera obviously he’s still well respected and good to be on a team with otherwise i’d say a lot of the long term riders on PFR wouldn’t have renewed contracts and all that. Just my thoughts.

I for one did stop watching his youtube channel.  It started to feel too much like an info-mercial trying to sell you something.  I really enjoy about 50-60% of it, but difficult to sit through the rest.  Very much self-promoting but I also get it.  He has a great thing going and I respect what he has built.  Almost like he turns on the camera and has a different personality that is pushing his product.  His riding style is amazing though.

This last season wasn't great coverage, because in part he was injured. I watch his channel during race season, for the POV practice laps. I still get a kick out of the racers perspective and watching he speed and track evolve. I still miss Fox's "Dialed" series, but that me LOL

Pivot Factory Racing not a World Series team..

As some of us alluded too a few days ago. The Pivot X Maples deal is already not looking great for Dylan.

We can assume PFR will get a wild card spot at each race. But not ideal to not have that guaranteed spot. Although maybe PFR wanted it that way to save costs?

Find all that BK / pivot hate a bit strange btw. Dude has done a lot for dh mountainbiking since many years and the bike should be good..

Judging by roundman69's location as Australia, we can maybe assume it was Tasmania. At least we have a 50% chance of being right 😉

Is that confirmed? He was on Intense previously, then was on the YT-sponsored HSC racing last year. I had thought he would end up on Intense again this year, but I've been told that isn't the case, and he has a different frame sponsor (not yet announced).

I just assumed so with IFR focusing on US racing for 2026 and "emerging" riders. But you're correct, nothing official from them.

Gotcha. I’d been predicting the Intense thing as well, as it made total sense for the reasons you outlined, so I was surprised when someone told me he was going elsewhere. I kind of thought that HSC (with Clay’s son Zach, Ryder, and Sully Notaro) would just switch over to Intense as a frame sponsor and keep the same roster and maybe change name to something Intense related. I haven’t heard anything on the other HSC riders or the future of that team, but I definitely heard Ryder won’t be on an Intense. .

Great to see Adidas getting more involved. All of the FiveTen riders have been wearing and marketing a lot of Adidas Terrex clothing these past few years. As well as some of their freeride athletes. Vali, Amaury, Myriam and maybe some others stand out as big promotors of the Terrex stuff.

Although I am Curious to see though what helmets, armour and other gear Norco Will wear this season. Or whether riders can have personal deals in those areas?

Hopefully them being more involved in DH will lead to a new version of the Impact Pro, which they "quiet quit" last year.  Instead of a 7th version of Trailcross shoes.

He talked a bit about it in the B-Practice podcast.

He mentioned Scott clothing and Bluegrass helmets.

Idk why because according to either this thread or the tech rumors thread they're perfectly fine wheels and had nothing to do with Ronan (or us average joes) nuking them.

I think Gwin is a smart man.  I don't think he'd race if he didn't think he had a chance to win.  I think he as 2 seconds off the win a couple races last season and he admitted that he only rode his bike for racing.  He probably feels like if he was to put 100% into it he has a good shot.

I am glad that I have approximately 20 pairs of Five Ten Impacts new in boxes. Love them. Ok, maybe not that many.

Dialed was fantastic with all of it, the stories, the editing, and all around fun by Shaffer, and Jake. Killer work. It is sorely missed, and a shame that Fox shut it down. It was the essence of the World Cup week. One day I hope it makes a comeback.

BK and Jenna in TLD lids, Roger in Leatt and Dylan in Bell in Roger Vs latest vlog. Personal helmet sponsors? They seem to use DHarco protection though as per BK's vlog.

Could be, maybe we could see DHarco produce their own helmet this season?

I am in the military and we reserve that sort of treatment for people we really REALLY dont like. Bottom of their field pack is usually the best one, takes days for them to figure out where the smell is coming from.

Back to team rumours. Dharco dont make helmets (yet) but is awesome seeing them go from where they were to what they have now is awesome to see. Probably see the PFR guys running Dharco gear and protection, BK will have something up his sleeve for helmets (as per the previous TLD comment).

I loved the pre-Adidas 5.10 shoes. They were my favourite flat pedal shoe.  Post Adidas, I really didn't like the direction they took. The soles of the last post-Adidas pair I had were so ridiculously soft that my feet hurt from pedalling in them. I could feel my foot folding around the pedals. It was like riding barefoot.  I still have them, and I wear them once in a while (not to ride), and I feel like I can feel every little pebble I'm stepping on.  Maybe some people like there flat pedal shoes soft like that, but I want my flat pedal shoes to have a really stiff sole.

Nope. I asked and they considered it. But said it's a significant step, they're happy doing protection for now.

The fascination with Dak, Gwin and BK on this forum is wild and getting so boring! The pivot team are wearing different helmets who cares they are a team and they are racing, I’m sure the way that the bike industry is going people are getting sponsors but can wrangle a deal with other companies if they want, like in most sports they play for the same teams but they don’t have to wear the same boots/shoes/goggles

lol agreed. A dude that’s been hurt for 5 years, a dude that’s never won anything and a predator have more fans than the top guys/gals in the sport. At least on the pink site everyone is a homer for the kid winning the overall.
