I am in the military and we reserve that sort of treatment for people we really REALLY dont like. Same name and branding looks similar, but the old Demo 8 and Sam wheeling out what looks to be a Stumpy 15 in the video and the fact that Empire Cycles are S-Works and Specialized dealer pretty much confirms Sam is back on the big S.

Owners of GT went under in 2001, GT came back, Robinson and Powerlight didn't. From memory, I think that the same owner also owned Schwinn at the time too.

I have a Shore Park as my current dh bike and my son recently replaced his dh with a Range that he hasn't ridden in the bike park yet. I'm satisfied with it for dh but of course I'm always curious about all the other dh bikes out there. I do think the high pivot makes me less concerned about the 190 travel. I have a drive train, 180 Zeb, lighter tires and external dropper that I will try on it but not expecting it to be long term as I'm more interested in riding it as a dh bike...

Agreed, but think about it...... where would it be held? Think the infrastructure required. Accommodation, Nearby Hospitals (that isn't a glorified Vet) and a track worthy of a WCDH round? Don't say Canberra either lol. A few venues tick some of the boxes, but nothing ticks them all IMO. Take it to Queenstown and I'll swim there.
