Intrigued to hear on the downtime podcast that frame diapers seem to be illegal during race runs this year. I wonder if that applies to Specialized’s moulded plastic covers as well?
I believe the specialized cover is in fact a diaper genie therefore exempt
Ryan really has taken a smack to the race from Ed's latest video.
I assume his chinbar must have broken?
As a user of a leatt helmet I kind of would like to know.
WIshing him & Bernie a swift recovery.
Screw that, if thats true we are going to get a free look on the all new Orbea rig this weekend
The Leatt helmets are one of the only moto rated ECE 22.05 helmets that are advertised for DH use. I would guess the chin bar got hit down and he caught a stick or something with the face, pretty gnarly wreck. This rating does not carry over to the other spec MTB helmets...
Watching the DH world cup in the US, is it just standard Max we need, or some add-on? Making sure I'm set up for Sunday's race.
Easiest calendar to view for DH is Roots and Rain: 2025 Whoop UCI World Cup DH - Roots & Rain
You need one better than the most basic. I think the most basic is $99/year, that doesn't allow you to see any of the sports(including DH) stuff. The next one up ($169/year iirc) allows you to see sports. There's a super fancy one that's 200+, I never found that to be any good.
charlie murray interviews dan booker
They posted something I didn't even understand yesterday. What does this meme refer to?

It's from Max's actual main page. I thought it was a spoof account.
HBO has changed the name of their streaming service a bunch. It was HBO Now, then HBO Max, for the past two years or so it was officially Max (no HBO), and now they are going back to HBO Max
They are not using the cover anymore. They just have a cover/electronic actuator in place of the shock's piggyback.
Don't they have a cover over their secret chain?
well i wouldn't call it a cover but an integrational part of the frame. otherwise you could argue you need to have open gearboxes or hubs (however this should be possible :D)
new favorite enduro racer! This guy is legit.
He had a really great interview on a podcast called Stay On Your Bike with Nigel Page. It was a really good chat - Pagey was his team manager at Nukeproof (if I'm remembering accurately) so their conversation was really good - and made me stoked on him as a rider before the season.
I noticed his name and listened to the episode in my podcast list after seeing him do that tree skinny line at Hardline Taz. I think the podcast was from November 2024.
Aaron Gwin and Mclure Bailey with a POV at the DHSE in Windrock this weekend
I just realized that I havn't seen windrock at any other time of year then early spring. I was totally confused seeing green as its normally just brown clay and rock everywhere.
Gwin no racing in Poland?
We have known that for like a month 😂
Might have missed it, but has the season long number list been published?

Just watched the women’s race. I thought Neko was really good on commentary.
Agreed. Hats off to him for noting Dapréla “won’t take no for an answer.”
I laughed when I heard that.
Neko was a revelation. I hope he continues his insight.
How about THIS guy? Hattie had already crashed out of contention, and then this guy’s all “hold my beer.”
As is tradition, this is my fault for putting her on my fantasy. Only doom follows those who end up on my cursed team...
Isn't this a valid justification for a rerun?
Same thought - She should get a re-run!
