I remember riding the Park City dirt jumps around 2010 and Porter was there. It was the first time I had ever seen someone do a tailwhip in real life and I was completely mind blown. What I remember most though was how cool he was, just hanging out and riding with all the kids.

Impressive by Jackson. I can't imagine being a domestic pro, finally getting the opportunity to race with some big dawgs, only to realize one of the fastest riders in the world just beat you by 20 seconds. That's a pretty eye opening reminder of how good these guys are

utterly ridiculous. they took the bike that was largely panned last year, short stroked the shock, paired with a lighter fork and put lightweight tires on it and are calling it light and nimble? I can't imagine the use case for this bike, but it's not mountain biking as most of us know it. Just get an Avinox equipped bike already and call it a day. The Unno is lighter and more capable. Or a Druid LitE.

That’s tough. A true trail bike is always subjective and really depends on the region. Personally if I lived in Bellingham I would not want my only bike to be a Spur or another short travel bike, but that is just me. I would lean toward a Stumpjumper 15 with a 150 mm fork. The frame weighs about 6.3 pounds...

Sounds like this motor is more efficient, the range numbers are beating most full size batteries.

I think there are a lot of mountain bikers who ride for an hour, maybe an hour and a half, for about 80 percent of their rides. These riders would benefit a lot from having a lighter bike as their primary option, in my opinion at least.

It's hilarious that John probably started off the week thinking "Reece, Jackson and Troy, one of these guys could win the race", to Saturday afternoon when he must have been more like "Do I still release the video if none of them qualify?"

For anyone covering gravity racing This Is The Way. Pick a limited number riders and follow them over the weekend, let the story tell itself.
