I think there are a lot of mountain bikers who ride for an hour, maybe an hour and a half, for about 80 percent of their rides. These riders would benefit a lot from having a lighter bike as their primary option, in my opinion at least.

It's hilarious that John probably started off the week thinking "Reece, Jackson and Troy, one of these guys could win the race", to Saturday afternoon when he must have been more like "Do I still release the video if none of them qualify?"

TMAC video for more details. I'm HYPED for Tyler! And I agree, Ari has been making a push in all the right spots. Edit: The white crowns look so good with this frame. And HUNT 'Special Project' wheels. Interesting considering HUNT doesn't currently make a DH wheel.

Secure sunglasses storage is my only gripe with this helmet and most others on the market. We get lots of foggy weather down here which sometimes means you need to descend with your glasses on your helmet in bad conditions. I wish brands integrated clips onto the helmet, kind of like Oakley did a while back. Regardless, it looks like a good helmet.

Yes. It's marginal compared to riding wet, rooty trails with both casings. But I always run MaxxGrip at least up front. I've pushed my front wheel too many times with MaxTerra haha

I'm not sure it's fair to say he was originally a slopestyle athlete. He started racing DH, and won his first rampage in 2008, but his first joyride win was 2011.

You're right - look for all protected riders to start giving up points by just rolling through the gate in both qualis and semis starting next week in Val Di Sole. Why did no one think of this before? Have you considered offering your consulting services to teams on how to game the system?

9700$$$ for a catalog frame with a Bafang motor ??? That's just ridiculous no matter this spec !!! Value is not down to components, there is the Value of a brand sweating to have a unique product. And while no harm in relabeling a frame, just try to be honest about it and not charge a premium as other brands that actually have their own designs and molds. Just saving on molds alone should have put this bikes in a much lower and more logical price point. Hope Vital really don't know about it being a catalog frame as I...
