Pretty sure he’s just joking around
He's also married, and I imagine there will be a few little rippers tearing around the yard in the not-so-distant future.
I don’t disagree. My perspective out of it was that the UCI sucks. Which it does...
While Brooke has never been as dominant as Gwin by comparison, I’ve still always considered him a contender with a string of bad luck. I think he was trying to help promote Forbidden as well.
How did the Team Rumors Thread take a hit, when it was mentioned HERE, that he is going to ride for a company that is named after a place in the USA??? This is actually boosting the Team Rumors street cred! It's not like somebody wrote that in a Pinkbike comment section, where everybody seems to be busy being the first to comment ”looks like a...”. Really now!

My bad, didn't catch that one.
It is with great pleasure that I can report we are still the undisputed champions of rumours and freckles. The legend of the TeamRumoursThread lives on...
Yea they caught the ole REAM TUMORS sleeping this year with Gwin and Crestline
Saw a Rachel Troop / Strait story on Instagram. looked like she was ridding a blue Fezzari.
Dang beat me to it, I just got a screen grab too and even drew an arrow.
teamwork!
Good to see my Gwin rumour came true!
How many pages of thread did you have to go through to quote yourself? (high five on being the only one who got it, btw)
I was there today and can confirm she was riding a Fezzari. Maybe Kyle will be on Fezzari too?
Where's the guy that said he would bet she wouldn't be on Fezzari?
Sam Blenkinsop rode for them last year. Whilst he’s not top ten, he’s not invisible.
Ebikes are what is selling at the moment so it’s a sensible call to have one as their one production model.
Most people haven’t heard of Crestline because they only produced DH bikes and only 200 of them, so unless you were shopping for a unique DH frame, you wouldn’t have shopped their options.
With how much Gwin doesn’t like the pedal, it’s entirely possible they might not produce anything besides DH and E-bikes.
not sure Gwinn has anything to do , testing early in the season..
From the other sites podcast with Gwin, I found his mentioning of Dak quite interesting.
and still surprising he hadn’t ridden the bike before agree’ing and had enough money for the 3 of them to race without money from a frame sponsor. So was able to become part of a bike company.
Great explanation from Dak when was on the Vital podcast for his announcement a couple of weeks ago. He had an opportunity to sign a solid three year deal, hard to pass up while his stock was high and the industry is in limbo.
Bad form... I've heard that he's only on a bike supply deal only with Forbibben... Hardly breaking news.
200 ??? Is that for real or a guessing ?
Nope, it’s what Aaron said in the podcast
They have numbers on the top tube, signifying which on it is from the batch.
My Crestline RS205 frame is #38 of 50.
They have probably built 200 Ebikes though. They did tell me that they were considering firing up production on the DH frame again though.
Who give a crap about BullDog's post? Stop hating on any guys in DH who even bother chasing this crazy dream.
He made a joke. Wipe your tears trolls. Stop the hate.
Let’s say the made 200 DH bikes. They sold 50 to the general public. Did they keep 150 around for future use and warranties? That would allow every bike they sold to be completely replaced if needed, and still have 100 in reserve. How many bikes does a team of 3 rider need? Two frames each?
If they made 200 bikes and some of those are e-bikes, could that mean there are only a handful of spare DH bikes around?
I’m guessing they can’t spin up production in 3-months specifically for the team, unless they’ve got a source of rapid manufacturing, but they’ve alluded to that idea in other interviews - that they were able to bring the DH bikes to market relatively quickly.
Gwin and Seth can probably tell Jim and Troydon the exact numbers they need after all the work at Intense. Will it be made specifically for them, or come off the floor?
If my memory serves me correvtly they made 50 bikes with spares. The dh bike was made with a prototype mold, I believe that can bypass a normal production slot to bang out frames quicker. Downside being prototype molds are only good for a certain number of frames before I assume they go out of tolerance. Maybe 100 or so.
The mold is apparently in good shape so yeah will be good for some more.
Also they're build super strong to avoid warranty issues and the likes too.
They told me that the molds for the DH bikes were inspected and it appeared they could get another 20 frames out of them. They have some spares as well around for existing owners. Assuming it takes off, they could easily do another prototype mold or actually invest in full scale production ones. I suspect they are trying to keep it lean though. If fifty at a time is profitable, no need to go further in this bike market. Especially since it’s really just a marketing piece for their e-bike.
The frames are built by VP, which makes a bunch of stuff for other manufacturers as well.
Man...all of this secrecy for the last 4 months & the biggest news to come out of it all is that his elbow is still fried.
That does not bode well AT ALL.
Last...would love to know why there are water bottle mounts on all their DH frames.
I'll take the answer that it's for mounting a computer to for DAQ/telemetry as the ONLY acceptable answer.
