I thought the Nicolai Nucleon 16 looked a bit "busy" with the idler and rear LAL derailleur, and maybe it's the angle/lighting, but this Slash with both pulleys, big chain slap guard, long rear fender, chunky seat tube, shock mount etc. brings me late 90's vibes too. It probably rides great, but with the swoopy tube junctions and straighter/angular rear end, the lines don't flow that well IMO and it looks a bit "unfinished" in the industrial design department. In front of a white background with studio lighting, it would probably look more finished. My 0.02$.
Is that a modular shock mount? Consider me interested.
IMO this two-tone paint is just not it. Specialized did a great job with the alloy Stumpy Evo, but to me this just makes it too busy, especially with the patterns. Hopefully other models have better combinations.
Okay so we got Transmission, we got the Vivid, now 200mm AXS Reverb pls SRAM? Anyone seen one recently?
Honestly I think it looks great, visually seems very unassuming but realistically has more bite than bark… which is the opposite of most bikes these days
and a price decrease because the AXS reverb is heavily overpriced. but yes, 200+ is needed
anther side note, why havnt more brands offerd cheaper and longer droppers? (200+) is it just that oneup have this locked down?
“I'd say its still probably better than the vivid.”
yeah fursure brah.
Hope they have one in the Miami green, volt yellow color combo they did on slash a few years back
Any info on the specialized bikes?? Enduro and both stumpjumper have been out for a while now... Specially the enduro.
They own Outside Van as well, I'm told they are growing the "lifestyle" segment of their brand.
Could this in fact be a new remedy?
They also own Race Face and Easton.
I could see that as being the most sensible - the current slash is pretty good & the remedy has not been updated in a long time.
Apparently its been confirmed as a slash.
The current gen slash is a darn good bike if you want to own one bike that actually pedals pretty good, im not convinced HP enduro bikes are good enough to justify its trade offs.
Seen press info leaked from a buddy of mine, it is not the remedy, it's a new slash
170/170, high pivot, similar adjustments to the fuel EX, can seemingly be run either mullet or full 29
I’ve just noticed that Danny Hart is racing the production 215 in Andorra, while during the rest of the season he was riding the prototype. Does anyone know why he would do this?

New FIXSHOX REVO shock hardware.
Looks sweet, I wonder if they will ship to the US.
Anyone have intel on when the new Maven brakes will be dropping?
probably got lost at the airport lol
Can someone who's used these explain what they do and how? Some of the terminology on the English version of the website is suffering from the translation.
I’d say guess year, spring at the earliest.
They do what spherical bearings do, reduce side loading of the shock. And they do this with standard 15mm eyelet size.
And it’s also boost and single-crown only, right?
yes

Minnar (back?) on an unpainted/proto frame for Andorra. Clearly working well for him. Anyone know anything about it? Looks like one from the V10 development videos they did.
He was on it from the second race of the season, Im the comments on instagram the Syndicate mentioned he asked for a lighter frame so they rushed it to him hence the reason not painted not sure how much truth is in this but maybe he went back to teh new frame for worlds and didn't like it again so is back on the raw carbon bike
V10s was one of the lightest frames out there, how much lighter does he need it to be? If i remember correctly, the last 26er V10 was 2.6kg without a shock… a 29er would be how much heavier???
Might be related to the fact that he is riding the XXL size that is potentially even custom sized larger for him???
Also did I see something about him getting a new mechanic mid season? I guess after all those punctures...
i've heard grumblings of a new Spesh Enduro, has anyone seen anything yet?
