Niiice. Anyone else grab a photo of it? I couldn't find anything on Ibis socials or from their riders. Obviously trying to hide it I suppose!

Wow, this a custom job or a new paint/anodization from Hayes themselves?

Does anyone know if Daprela/Pierron are still running the Vorsprung Secus?

I’m surprised Fox allowed them to install one.

Lotsa changes. Wonder if Jack Moir will settle into the year and revert back to a more historically normal bike setup for him, or if he's planning on running the super mega enduro downhill bike for the rest of the season. Especially odd because it seems like a lot of riders are underbiking for Maydena vs. a lot of the steep and deep Euro rounds and Whistler. Things to watch. If we're to believe those parts specs in his bike check, Jack is running for the first time:

190mm fork

Cushcore front and rear, or at all

Coil shock

Longer reach frame

A few of the riders are surprised that Maydena is steeper than they thought, most people hadn't ridden here (Jack obviously has) but its much steeper than Derby and a lot rougher over all. Maybe Jack has gone the "plush" setup for his hand?

Maydena is a big hill. 800m of vert (2600 freedom units for you Americans). It's plenty steep and rough.

Jack loves a high front end anyway and would definitely have set up softer to protect the hand.

Spotted on the other site and Instagram that the Trek Factory Racing riders at the EDR are not running sponsor correct tyres, look to be on the Sharpie/Maxxis program. XC team seem to be running Pirelli, be interesting to see what the DH team are running come the first world cup.

What bike was Vali riding? Didn't look like a Slash to me. It had a Fuel EXe seat tube/top tube junction.

If my job was to be really fast, and something that you could put on a fox fork (that isn't a SRAM product) was asked to be removed, I'd be frickin pissed.

Especially if you are excelling at the "be really fast" aspect of the job requirement...

The druid is about to be updated soon (probably a wee bit more travel, more aggressive geo, etc.), wonder where it'll slot between the "old" druid, the dreadnought and their upcoming dh frame...

The bike in this pic also has a Lyrik+super deluxe air but in his insta posts it has a Zeb+ super deluxe coil, maybe two different bikes. I know they have a new druid coming soon so maybe the pic of the bike above is the new druid.

I remember a slideshow pic of Brook Macdonald's Marzocchi fork from back in the Mondraker (pre-Fox ownership of course) days running a Fox damper. That pic wasn't up for too long Smile

Krabo is correct she was on the new gen 6 fuel EX... If she didnt have those couple of issues and say "won" it wouldve been funny as hell, a 140mm trail bike won an EWS,(still ews in my mind)

it has two bolts near the dust seals, so probably won't fit

Sharpie, the worst tool for keeping MTB secrets. Looks like the new caliper is MAVAN or NAVAN.

Didn't even look closely enough at my own post to see that, good eye.

I actually just solved the floppiness of my own Zeb's fender the other day. Realised it rattled in the rough, and that there isn't enough bracing outside the plane of the 3 bolts, they must've realised the same.
