A friend was offered one as a warranty to his broken Megatower.
That explains the electronic dropper seen a few months ago here (pic was removed)

I’m more interested in what’s going on with that custom linkage. Looks like they made a new front shock mount that bolts to the bottle cage, allowing them to run the shock with the reservoir on the bottom for some reason.

Probably leverage curve shape, among other things, given the custom scissor link and rocker link...
Far ahead of the curve is pushing it. Lagging behind is more fit:
- Inline shock on "superenduro" bike
- Twinlock
- Not that radical geometry...

I think I demoed one, and it was a bag of shit to pedal and decend.
Yeah I rode one as a loaner from the shop and did not like the way it rode. That being said I haven't liked any of the Scott bikes that I have ridden. I don't know if its the shock tune or what but they just never feel quite right to me.

News from my Local scott guy who had the rep in not long ago said they are not too far away but shock will be laid down in the downtube.. again like the bold... he said "newer geo" but wouldnt give us any numbers, Models will be available without front twinloc so forks arnt overpriced/fit4. Rear shock in ransom will be able to handle piggyback. despite being internal.
apparently bold bikes are now available through scott retailers at end of year...
I've ridden/owned both genius and Ransom, they climbed OK but still require removal of the front loc to actually get weight over the front. In short, both went down the hill like crap compared to other bikes. Other than HTA both bikes were behind the geo ball right from their update in 2018. 100% would not recommend current scott trail/enduro bikes, the XC and DH bikes are good though lol...
'What BB' as in their own design or something off the shelf. That's what interests me. If they would piggyback on dub for example or something similar, it would make it a lot more interesting, as it's a proven BB (used in thousands around the world) and you can get it cheaply anywhere you want.
If they are to make their own, how well is it sealed? Being able to replace just the bearings on its own would be a plus, but given how modern BBs with large diameter spindles are made (thin plastic sleeves in the bearings to prevent creaking and chewing up the aluminium spindles), I'm not too hopeful for that one...

5dev offers their cranks in 30 and dub. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is the norm for anyone not named shimano
Speaking of Gabaruk anyone have experience with the cassettes?
Yes l do. I have an 11sp with 50t cog and overall l am pleased. Very light and shifts pretty good with a XT derailleur, xtr shifter and KMC 12sp chain. I can't compare this to a Shimano or SRAM cassette in the shifting department as l haven't used one of those in many years. Well worth looking at if you are using an 11sp drivetrain.

Ideally a high- or mid-pivot sender in aluminum. In my view there is no advantage to have a carbon DH race bike. Rode the latest version of the Sender back to back with the Supreme and it was noticeably more nervous. Guess the weight was a big factor. But maybe that’s just me 😉
Anyway, super interested in seeing in which direction they go and if they will race it already in one of the upcoming world cups.

I know for a fact that there are currently no plans for an aluminium version of the Sender.
They've got the Torque AL, which is basically a DH bike and can be built up to 200mm/185mm with a long-stroke shock, dual-crown fork. And the frame is Category 5 certified, exactly like the Sender.

if you click through the instagram link you can see the spindle, looks 30mm to me.
