Sometimes this industry just can't help itself - DH Bike sales (and the industry as a whole) are already suffering.
After the race this weekend or Ft. Bill, when 29ers leave 650b in the dust....no one in their right mind will be plunking down 4k-9k for a 650b DH bike that will lose over 1/2 it's value as soon as it leaves the showroom floor or warehouse.
Yeah and then he tries to play it down in that interview like we should all get a life and just ride our bikes and not worry about 29ers in DH but it's basically like somebody just put a bigger engine in their race car and now WE SHOULDN'T WORRY ABOUT IT? If he's not worried how about not racing the big wheels, since it's no big deal YEAH RIGHT.
that can have no meaning what so ever, firstly, the route can be a little different and faster, or the track can be in better shape and faster.
second , most pro riders don't use strava there, so you don't have an up to dat picture of the times, and even the ones that you have are just a few
practice times from today - danny and gee up there, but greg and marcelo not on 29ers and don't seem like they're much off the pace than they may normally be?
women's final results - manon takes it. assuming myriam flatted on 29er?

Bit bummed Tahnee didn't take the win on her first race on the new bike.
Final results are in from the Fort! Hart wins, 8 seconds faster than Gee's fastest qualifier. Gee and Rachel did not take part in the finals apparently, we don't know why at this point.
Gee and Rachel flat, crash, or just not race?
Nice to see Danny and Loic are in top form and ready for battle at the next WC. Can't wait to see Minnaar and Gwin mix it up with them.
Ha!
Little guy's already having to patch his britches.

You could be onto something Woo, 29er bum runners/ass patches. The market for these should never hit rock bottom once DH 29ers flood the scene. Rubbin's Racin'.
That's a shame. He seemed fit, fast and seemed to have a much better attitude going into this season, a bit more relaxed. The last few season DH fans have slagged him a big for his bad attitude, myself included, but in all the interviews so far this season he just seemed like a happier person. Hope he heals up well and keeps it up.

What happened to Rachel, she was there right?
Despite the track, I am super looking forward to the WC race in June. Gonna be good racin'!
