I've always just bought automotive grease, like Lucas Red and Tacky, for bearings and general assembly and then Sram butter for fork assembly and the such. Never really thought much about it, What's the advantage of PM600 and these others?

"Jeff Bezos has two feet and two hands, but he isn’t a human being." Top notch. Maybe the toppest of all conceivable notches. If I may offer a pared-down version of the answer (knowing full well that I am likely to be roasted and then have the charred flesh torn from my bones,) the suck comes from an overwrought ideal of individualism. Dare I say neoliberalism? We're not the only ones out there enjoying the trails, and our amusement is never more important than anyone else's right to enjoy the trails.

Dear Robot, 1/ If by friction, you mean 2 surfaces sliding one on the other, I think there is not so much friction in a gear box. If the gears are well designed, the teeth are rolling one one the other, not sliding (involute tooth profile). Same for the bearing inside, the balls are mostly rolling. 2/ Why do I have to confirm I'm not a robot (in the suscrib form) to answer to a robot ??

That was ridiculously pinned in those conditions. Lotta front wheel drifts in there. Reckon there aren't too many people in the world faster than Joe Smith on his home trails in the wet, even if he is technically retired.

Yea this is insane. Looks like some of the gaps near the middle require ultra precision but the last step down looked massive. If tricks weren’t so important at rampage Gee would still do super well

I'd much rather watch stuff like this than the 897345 videos that just show bro brahs doing little skiddy berm slapping.

That's a beautiful bike. Without the big knuckle in front of the BB that's become so common on Santa Cruz and e-bikes, this is a really nice look.

Looks the goods. I'd love it if they had a hightop version though. Zip-sided hightop too. Like my work boots.

I think the awnser to that question is yes which breaks my heart that the bike industry has convinced everyone that enduros are just as good! I love my DH bike and I love watching DH racing as it’s the pinnacle of our sport! Every rider needs to try a DH bike at least once, I hope they never die because a DH bike at a park or DH trail is an amazing thing!

I think it's boring two races at the same track even with some diferent parts. Maybe two completely diferent tracks at the same city can be very nice.
