Can you ride your e-MTB in the rain? Of course you can! Watch as Joe Smith and Gareth Brewin get rowdy and loose in Shropshire during a wet, sloppy day on the trails. Joe Smith (former World Cup DH racer) on the white Vitus, Gareth Brewin on the green Vitus with dual crown fork. All-day drizzle and mist, lots of slippy roots, but the main lines were rocky and very grippy. Gareth has no patience to set up properly for turns so he just hits everything inside. The e-bike has brought him out of retirement and vows to never touch a normal bike again. Joe thinks his Vitus rides better than a downhill bike because of the weight, and the tracking of the back end. E-bike filming is great too.. they were just running lap after lap.

You are right! They are not my trails or your trails, trails on public land are for all of us to use and share. So when riding your aMTB or eMTB respect others on the trails.

That was ridiculously pinned in those conditions. Lotta front wheel drifts in there. Reckon there aren't too many people in the world faster than Joe Smith on his home trails in the wet, even if he is technically retired.

The thing I don't get about ebikes, is why does every video NEED to tell me they are on ebikes. Just ride your bike.

Because if they don't there are people out there that will have an internal battle of self hate that, because they enjoyed the video before realizing it was E bikes. This is the same people that have a ton of info on why e bikes are bad, even though they have never ridden one. So.....in saying all that. Ya, why do we need to tell people anymore. Ride your bike already.
