yeah - that is simply not true in some cases, a bit of a strech in others. For DH, every major skiing and snowboarding branch it is patently false. Also, the advent of social media, general technological advances (both in terms of capturing action and communicating it) and more direct interaction between fans and athletes probably has been even more important. Sure, RB has done a lot for multiple sports wrt to financial support and exposure, but it is not like RB has not benefited massively in return. So from a branding perspective their return on investment cannot be overstated...

That’s interesting, but to be honest, after the whole Crank-gate issue where his mechanic had to fall on the sword, it’s hard to take anything from him directly at face-value. we totally got the point, BUT some dude from Switzerland wrote "the team manager of ms has personaly wanted danny back. He needs someone to put pressure on laury to finaly start winning more frequently" and we simply want to state that this is not the case. It's one thing to do some random guessing and share speculations, but another thing to make a bad joke on the back of riders.
