The only sounds in that video were cheers, freehubs, nob braps, and a light thudding of tires...insane how silent the bikes are right now.

8/10/2014 11:25am yes its a warthog family waiting for a rhino to finish his drink ... #28's caption should have read: This was one of the last images on my card before shooting today's recon/practice & with the heat that is forecasted for tomorrow I hope we don't revisit this scene where folks are crowding round the waterhole in Africa heat trying to get the last of the water.

I beg your pardon but, photo 28 is not a picture of a rhino family. It is a picture of a warthog family that just so happens to have a rhino in it. I should know....

8/8/2014 11:36am It's hard to tell from the angle of the photo but, nothing is actually touching the chain. They cover the inside of the guide with the soft part of velcro to help make the bike quieter. This way if the chain contacts the guide when it's getting bounced around, it's slapping against that instead of the hard plastic guide.

It amazes me how quiet DH bikes are these days. DH bikes used to sound as if they were falling apart as they went past.

I like how silent everybody is watching Hart slay that section in the last clip. I can only imagine there was a section full of people with dropped jaws.

7/18/2014 10:14pm This looks like a really cool bike, but I think it should be speced with the Float X across the whole line, not just on the highest end carbon one.

It's an old BMX term. Yes, you can Dead Sailor into a crash, and logically the going down with the ship metaphor makes perfect sense, but having a crash isn't actually part of the original definition. http://bmx.transworld.net/1000080788/features/a-bmx-dictionary-for-outs…

Dead Sailor just means you look really stiff/awkward/unstylish in the air.

6/30/2014 10:31am Because it has nothing to with weight. Not supporting the decision for a new "standard", just making the point that the size was chosen to maintain chainline, not based on weight.
