That's the only trail in the pilot zone that wasn't covered in this tour. The trails are pretty epic out there, considering you'd get a ticket for riding them a year ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tyd2O7wAM4Q

I’m gonna need to see some riding clips to make sure Teamrobot has still got the clout on MTB. Last I heard he bought a Volvo- and got a job as an insurance actuary or something (aka- he “fell off”)

I think long-travel bikes like this are the bees knees. I can only have one mountain bike due to money and space. I chose a long-travel bike, and I love it. My bike is a 180 front/160 rear Megatower, but pretty similar to the Nomad reviewed. It climbs technical stuff surprisingly well, and I'm able to keep up with most people everywhere. When I ride somewhere flat and boring I either lockout front and rear, add 10 psi to the shock, pump up the tires, or do all of the above. I have to work a little harder to go...

I tried to get these in the US but couldn't. I want to say it was Backcountry.com that said they were discontinued.. The low tops suck.. cuffs invite rocks into shoes. So, I keep gluing the soles back on my old Impact Hightops for DH

I wish these were out when I got the LT version. The cuff on the LT's SUCK! No matter what sock you wear, or how tight you tie them, crap will get in your shoe.

There were some spy shots of these new forks in that thread as well as a lot of talk about how to store your bike to get oil to the foam rings. I just put two and two together.

Dope! with the 29 making it a bit more slack, I bet pushing the seat further forward would help get the pedaling position a little better.. nicely done
