The Enduro World Series completed a 3-day, 7-stage race in Colorado a couple weeks ago and now lands in Whistler, BC for a 1-day 5-stage affair. The day will be long, the trails are steep and there is plenty of climbing in between. Riders get a glimpse of the pain they will face on Sunday as they examine the terrain in mountain biking's favorite destination. Dave Trumpore and Gary Perkin share the loam with us.

Go to the photo of Matt Slaven and see why people suck. So many of those riders murder the local trails and spread out lines for their own benefit. Sucks that he couldn't care that the actual trail is a couple feet to his right. Of all the enduros, Whistler seems awesome. Lots of pedalling, as it should be between sections. Lots of cool descending, but don't make your own tracks everywhere and spread out trails to make highways.

Wow- a racer sucks because he is finding what appears to him to be fastest allowable line through the section? You sound like such a butt hurt local whining because someone didn't respect your local pretty trail. If the right line isn't there, they will make it. It's what has happened in every race since the history of racing.

I beg your pardon but, photo 28 is not a picture of a rhino family. It is a picture of a warthog family that just so happens to have a rhino in it. I should know....

yes its a warthog family waiting for a rhino to finish his drink ... #28's caption should have read: This was one of the last images on my card before shooting today's recon/practice & with the heat that is forecasted for tomorrow I hope we don't revisit this scene where folks are crowding round the waterhole in Africa heat trying to get the last of the water.

caption aside, rhinos and warthogs are now mandatory slideshow material.
