Definitely a DQ if the UCI want to be consistent with their rulings, Bernard tried to argue this as he was DQ'd years ago for something similar, but the UCI Comm argues it wasn't intentional. Bernard gives his thoughts in my WynTV up later tonight.

I have no idea how Brendan, Josh, Bernard, Danny, etc, etc can learn all their skills in the woods of England. He was talking about accessibility of the sport, but nobody does more than those guys by showing how just messing about in the woods can lead to professional careers. Love watching their 'Slice of Pie' segments and bits of GMBN, etc.

Yay!!! Finally someone openly talking about the 29 versus 27.5 wheel feel. And it being The Freeracer makes it feel far more genuine than anyone else. He didn't try to sell me anything. Completely new level of respect for him. Great insights on his passion to just ride all the time, the inability to say NO, his constant & firm affirmation that he's a racer first! big applause to the photogs and mostly the riders that f-ed around doing this, at a WORLD CUP! Seems like the fun is back for a while now, keep it up world cuppers, this fun aspect of the PINNACLE of DH racing will get more kids involved and aspire to be world cup downhillers-in addition to the seriousness of training and work ethic you all put in, BRAVO!

I've owned some eMTB's, i've had some fun on them...my boss is a full time eMTB guy but im ok with it because he is loving riding again (shattered his hip 4 yrs ago), my boss is also an industry legend (Troy Lee), so i've grown to be ok with the class 1 bikes (assist) but this shit really bothers me=the blurring of the lines. Ah well, the debate will rage on eh?

My take on "e-bikes" is that it you might as well call it pedal assist motorbike. There is a motor in place. The lines between the motorbike above and so-called e-bikes will continue to get blurred and will create massive issues for the real cyclist in the future as far as all trail access. In Norway, where I'm from, we have what you will call "freedom to roam". you find this in some other countries as well. A rule that basically allows me to move wherever I want in nature. Today I can do that on mountainbike, I fear that...
