Looks like Luca Shaw was 3rd fastest at split 4, might have a long sit in the hotseat tomorrow. On paper it's now Pompon who's 5 points ahead of Tracey in the overall!

I don't think anyone fully comprehends how loony Gee is. To come back from that sort of thing this fast and qualify? Gee is officially a synonym for the word "savage".

Stitches and straps for men's and women's #1. Charlie Harrison second fastest American, and Dakotah Norton 3rd fastest American. Gee is the definition of "Tough as Nails" qualifying in 41st. Rough go for team GT. And Keegan didn't start after that gruesome boulder 1,2 punch. Any update on him? Looked like his arm got jacked. I love World Cup.

Not sure about Brook, but I know Connor just rolled out of the start hut and pulled off course to save his hand (banged it up at Andorra last weekend) since he's a protected rider. I'm guessing it's a similar thing for Brook?? They're both in finals tomorrow.

These are so much better than any other DH media out there. It's like being at the race. I know the six minute version is "more boring" than the shorter, more intense Vital RAW of the past, but getting to see rider after rider trying the same section gives a much more accurate representation of what downhill racing is. It's methodical, it's repetitive, it's intellectual, and yeah, it's kind of boring when you're watching trackside. Hell, it's actually kind of boring when you're racing. A lot of the time is spent sitting and waiting, or talking, or hiking. DOWNHILL FOREVER

I think the only thing that can be taken from timed training is what kind of times will be required to be near the top later in the weekend...and it's a loose estimate at that.

No pressure on Lenzerheide, but it's going to be a bit tricky to top the racing from this past weekend. Are we finally going to have a repeat winner in the elites? What a season!
