I assume this is the point where all the ebike owners will form advocacy groups and help defend trail access for mtb's and stop just riding coat tails... right? Right guys?

It fits clear and cleanly into a category that is Motorcycle Its no different than a CX, XC, DH, or Road and banana seat style of bike. They are all still bicycles. Small or big, Electric or gas a motorcycle is still a motorcycle until it has pedals as its primary form of power The real conversation for the future is getting a sepertation made between pedal assist, and throttle assist Bicycles

At 6'7"/200lbs, I've broken about a dozen or so frames in my time, steel and alloy. I choose, or chose back before my MS, to ride hard. I just don't see current carbon holding up having seen so many cracked carbon frames come through the shop. Never could afford one myself. I am super excited about Gorilla Gravity's new technology though.

Old guy's foot in mouth disease... Screw carbon. I have zero plans to be stuck in the back country with a broken frame. Santa Cruz as a town has a fantastic history of steel. Hire local and make the Steelmelion. Roots! Yeeww! Ten down votes, a personal record! Get me to twenty and I'll wheelie around the block on my homemade steel DH bike.

Naming it the Sundae would be somewhat epic. You're referencing one of the most iconic DH bikes of all time, with a new bike designed in part by the same designer, that is somewhat visually similar. Hell, it's pretty clever.

it would have been nice that they could keep the atherton logo when they were still with commencal. for the bike name. since they love to incorporate their brand i would go for RAGED. RAchel-GEE-Dan
