Dear Maxxis. How about a Dissector with dual compound, maybe for cristmas, eh? And please, make it Exo+ when you're at it. Its supposed to be a rear tire is it not?

Please include comparisons in your long term review. Without those tire reviews are absolutely pointless, because every good review reads nearly the same

I'm riding my 2015 Process with a coil and about 20% SAG. It pedals like a goat

Well it was critic, but not a harsh one, since comparison is just a part of the whole review. The rest was very good. The weight might actually be a big factor. I'm below 70kg in my riding gear. I guess that's 140lbs or so and you really notice the weight of stuff, even if its not rotating, when your'e so light. For example the difference between a Totem (2.8kg if I'm not mistaken) and the Metric (2.3) was immense and totally screwed up my ballance in the air. Also living in the Alps it does matter if you pedal...

Hey Jeff, that was not ment as a harsh critic. I just red the review of the Metric a few years ago right here on Vital and since both forks fall in the same category (yes, the evil word, but since the Durolux is somewhat a shrunk down RUX and the Metric is a shrunk down RV1 and both wheigh about 200-300g more than your average enduro/AM/trail fork, which as a matter of fact matters to a lot of riders, i think for once the category thinking might be adequate here) and wondered how they compare. I own a Metric...

Greetings. Good review, but you missed to compare that fork properly. Chassis wise/weight wise the Durolux seems to be fompared to XFusions Metric, which you (i.e. vital MTB ) reviewed a few years ago. Both forks are burly freeride forks (actually the Metric is a shrunk down DH Fork), not stiffer Enduro forks, at least in my book So how does the Durolux compare to the Metric, and what about a Lyric or a Yari? Thanks a lot.

Hi! we have quite a lot of experience with KS posts, and overall, they do a great job. There are a few small things that dropped the score here: it has a tendency to get "stuck down" after the bike sits for a while, you may have to force it to return back up (usually not critical, but sometimes it remains stuck down and has to be serviced to fix this - a known issue with KS posts in general). The post tested here also started to develop a tiny bit of sag as air leaked to the wrong side...

Very good review! But it's lacking comparisons. How does the TRS perform compared to a Kaiser Project 2,4, a Baron Project 2,4 or the Wildrock'R2?

Good review! Am I understanding correctly, that you could use 32T oval chainring instead of a round 30T one, still maintaining the ability to ascend uphills of similar steepness as before?
