We had the chance to do some battery testing with Specialized’s Turbo Levo 4 to get some stats on range. I did a test where I did same loop in each mode to see how time/battery consumption/power compared, plus a battery draining ride with a range extender. It was more for exercise, but it was cool (and pretty tiring haha) to see how different modes ate battery, and how far you actually can go on a full-size eeb. Went ahead and tried out the FF CR build with springdex thanks to SWS's recco. I got to say I am super impressed. It has better sensitivity off top even allowing me to go up in spring rate a bit. Its rebound is way better controlled and having a mid valve between the high and low speed comp really keeps the whole thing very composed and calm feeling everywhere.

Agreed on the stock vivid air being trash. An ext storia was a revelation in comparison. I found the drag from the hp drivetrain to be excellent in comparison to others I've tried (claymore, range, slash). And the braking behaviour has been good for me, much better than something like the claymore that pretty much locks up. Like I said, the d2's magic is in the geo, not the hp rear end. Because it doesn't dramatically display the benefits of a high pivot, but it does have some of the negatives. That is essentially what people were asking for though...
