It's shocking because the EDR is renowned for its long, guelling climb stages where gearbox efficiency really comes into play. Really revolutionary stuff!

I am not sure what tune I have on my 38 but it came stock on my ebike. I have found that the rebound tune is that fast. I am full open on LSR and close to the middle on HSR. This is last gen 38 to so not the new airspring. What I did find is I need quite...

Ah yes that is normal - Fork speeds are often lower on compression and faster on rebound due to having less weight on it than the rear. The relative spring rates are typically softer at the rear in the first half of the travel where the highest compression speeds occur, as well as having much more load going through it in those events

Uhh yeah sorry. I knew I should have clarified. The fork I usually see lower compression speeds overall than my shock but often times seem to see a bit more rebound speeds. I typically have my fork compression adjusters more open than my shock.

I could give this a go, would back to back race sim laps be enough to provide accurate results? At least in a way that it is consistently one way or the other?

What shock? I had some funky setups on my dreadnought that worked but I didn't love it. There was an Italian bike shop team that had a setup in the tunnel. I'll see if I can find it.

I would be curious to hear more on your last paragraph. I have noticed when testing on my 2 bikes with 2 different forks (fox and ohlins). I end up running less damping up front then in the rear. Are you seeing this both in the compression and rebound strokes?

I see your point, but with an electronic switch at the handlebars, you could be choosing between a lot more options than just on/off or even a three position soft/firm/locked out. You could use the electronic lever to choose between as few as two but as many as infinite modes that are configured by the user on the app. Those modes could include smarter LiveValve or FlightAttendant modes that use sensors, algorithms, and active electronics to open and close at a rate of 100hz to respond to terrain in real time. You can't do that without electronics. I'm pretty sure...

I was at Eurobike last week and was really curious about the Stablead products, specially their suspensions. It looks really well made, I was checking their enduro inverted fork and saw it had a USB-C port. The guy at the stand said it was for an electronic damper. All forks would come with the USB port so you could upgrade to electronics even if you buy a traditional fork. They said the plan to release was for beginning 2027. Other than that, I couldn't find anything interesting apart from the whole Gobao/Avinox CVT madness, really curious to try them.
