Very cool for Adrian after the elbow accident I wasn't sure if he would every bounce back.

The key difference is where the main restriction actually comes from. With something like the Charger 3, the flow path leading to the shim stack is restricted, so that restriction effectively sits in series with the shim stack. With the ZETA Tune Adjuster, the ports and the fluid paths leading to them are sized so that the shim stack itself remains the main restriction in the flow path. There are always open ports, and the ports themselves are non-restrictive until the flow reaches the shim stack opening. When additional ports are opened, they essentially add another flow path in parallel...

First up, thank you to the Vital team for presenting our product here! Since a few questions came up, I wanted to chime in and clarify a bit what we mean by the Tune Adjusters. As @Slavid666 analyzed pretty much spot-on, the High-Speed Tune Adjuster changes the port configuration underneath a non-preloaded tapered shim stack. With each adjuster position, one additional port is closed off, changing the hydraulically loaded area of the stack. The shim stack itself stays exactly the same, but the way it is loaded changes, which therefore changes the slope of the resulting force-velocity curve. That is...

I thought there used to be a DHF DC/DH casing tire but I just never saw something call bike park. Is the casing any different than their DH casing?

Anyone try the maxxis dhr2 bike park tires? TB00368500 or TB00537000 I just stumbled onto these looking on BTI. Looking for a longer lasting rear for the ebike and bike park days. Conti isn't terrible outside of the price. Tried the Michelin bike park tires and flatted 2nd run. Casing was pretty bad. By bike park they mostly me cheap...

@jeff.brines has a great round-up here: https://jeffbrines.substack.com/p/q2-outdoor-industry-roundup Snip (worth reading the whole thing) "Trek has access to capital and is very large, but if I were to pick one company that doesn’t survive this era, its Trek. At a point, the market can no longer support this many big companies that are offering things people just aren’t buying."

Has anyone tried to get their speeds similar from one bike/suspension manufacture to another? I have a pretty good baseline setup on my enduro bike with Ohlins but my ebike with fox does not feel as good. I know that my bike is heavier but I can not achieve a similar level of comfort. I have tried a few different...

I hate to say this but you need 3. An ebike to ride when you have limited time or its too hot or you think its too wet or you're too tired or because the trail sucks. An enduro or 150ish bike to ride the fun trails and still pedal but also to put into a bag so you can...

I'd be curious to try this. Would your bike be moving like a trophy truck -Suspension moving fairly quick through the travel but the rebound is fast enough to return to the ground so the chassis is in the same spot for the most part and wheels are just doing their thing.

I love that you think gearboxes will become ubiquitous on ebikes and will entirely replace mechanical derailleurs and electronic battery-powered derailleurs and electronic hard-wired derailleurs and autoshift derailleurs and internally geared hubs, instead of becoming one more option among a confusing sea of options and pricepoints, like everything else in the bike industry. If only it were that simple.

It's shocking because the EDR is renowned for its long, guelling climb stages where gearbox efficiency really comes into play. Really revolutionary stuff!

I am not sure what tune I have on my 38 but it came stock on my ebike. I have found that the rebound tune is that fast. I am full open on LSR and close to the middle on HSR. This is last gen 38 to so not the new airspring. What I did find is I need quite...
