12/18/2025 11:02pm Dumb question but if I don't have the leverage programed in can I not use the wheel travel function?

12/18/2025 10:58pm I was thinking I needed to go up in spring rate on the fork and I made a mistake on my previous post. I was at 100psi and bumped up to 103 for my next run before I broke the sensor. I will do a few more runs incrementally increasing fork pressure until I get closer to the 20% mark...

12/18/2025 7:35pm Ok sweet, I see a few things now - The fork is spending more time deeper in the travel than the shock, so I would increase the pressure to about 110psi. If theres already 3 spacers then that should be OK I wouldn't go more. Normally I would suggest 2 for you and you might want to try that so you can experiment with higher pressure first. But normally I would be aiming for closer to 20% average position on the fork, no more than 25 for sure. I do find starting with too many spacers can send you off...

12/18/2025 1:29pm Thanks for the response. A few questions here. For Comp speeds, you need to ask yourself if you like the front or rear feel more. Either stiffen the rear or soften the front. ---- I am full open now with both compression adjusters, so my only option currently is to go stiffer in the rear. This is going to bring...

12/18/2025 6:49am I got my unit did a day of testing to just get the little tweeks worked out. Then another day of actually testing on a rougher trail. Overall after following some of the suggestion from the auto tune to see if it would feel better it did but I am surprised by the suggestions. I have always ran a fairly...

12/15/2025 8:21am I wonder if you could use the slacker tool to help figure wheel travel.

12/11/2025 11:53am Add Santa Cruz to the west coast mix. Lots of chunky / steep / fast stuff that merits a slacked out 170mm bike. Like yeah, I could ride a 26lb stumpjumper on those trails, but I'm having way more fun on a DH capable enduro rig. I don't think the enduro style of bike is going anywhere. It's more fun than a 150mm trail bike in a lot of scenarios.

12/3/2025 11:19pm Check out the Downamics Patreon. He’s got videos of step by step on there. You will have to watch a few times to get your flow. Also BYB has great videos on YouTube. For me, this is my workflow; Run 1- Warm up / test system and function Run 2 - Dynamic sag Repeat as many runs to get that how you want. Say 25%28% Run 3 - compression/reb speed balence Repeat as many runs to get that how you want. It’s going to take time, don’t get overwhelmed, just learn as you go and it becomes addicting. Try to...

12/3/2025 3:35pm @thegromit I’ve found that the Auto Tune creates a too soft feel for me and my fox factory / performance elite cannot be opened up enough to achieve the rebound and compression settings suggested. Though I do want to get with my suspension servicing friends and try to shim and customize these forks and shocks to the Auto Tune. Part of my self education I would adjust my clickers all the way one way and do a run. Turn the clicker all the way the other way and do a run. Compare the data results and what I felt. And...

12/3/2025 8:15am I ordered my byb kit last week. This is my first data setup but I did use a shockwiz a few times. I am a little intimidated by the scope of this product but I do now have an ebike so I was hoping the learning curve would be sped up by being able to put in more laps easier...

12/3/2025 8:00am The EWS100 and EWS80 were replaced a few years ago (I think when the UCI took over) by the EDR Open, which is basically the same thing. This year, we raced one day out of two when the Pros had a two-day race, or we had one fewer stage than the Pros when it was a single-day event. Unfortunately, we didn’t have Open racing at all the rounds. It was only available in Pietra, Bielsko-Biała, Loudenvielle, Morillon, and Val di Fassa. There was some form of Open racing in Aletsch as well, but I only found out about that after...
