I am also going to let Devin know about your comment and he can decide if it makes sense to steepen the seat angle on the bigger sizes.

the other thing that I believe makes sense is to use the longest crank you can fit on the bike. on the Leviathan that would be a 175mm or even 180mm if you can find it. That way your seat is not too high up. At 6'4" I would not suggest going less than 175mm.

they also lowered their bb from previous models a bit to provide a wider range of crank length options for "shorter" lengths.

All of our 29ers we always focused on a super short chain stay to make the bike more nimble and easy to manual. Tall guys always loved the XXL size of those bikes, but I do know what you mean about it kind of cantilevering you over the rear wheel. with the 32er we've lengthened the chain stay and steepened up the seat angle a bit, but maybe not as much as you would like. I did notice the extra length of the rear meant I was not getting wheeled back over the rear wheel at all. It was definitely...

I am 6'4". I'm a big fan of steep seat angles. I've been burned by many years of bikes with steep virtual / slack actual seat tube angles that have my butt almost over the rear axle when I extend my seatpost. I'm curious how you have handled this in the larger sizes?

how tall are you? We unfortunately do not know when any more forks will be available. I think this fall though.

This looks really nice. It concerns me that all the bike sizes show the same seat tube angle. Is that actually the case? As a taller rider, it really frustrates me a when I run my long dropper post, and my seat position is now right above the rear axle. Also, do you know when other options for the fork, other than the Wren, will be available? Am not keen on the Wren.

This bike looks like it came back to 2026 from the future. A silent smasher.

Honestly I always wanted a chest-only protection which would go well with a backpack (not necessarily with protection). I had a lots of crashes and never have I fallen on my back, but almost always on my chest. Currently to wear any meaningful chest protection you must use a hip pack because there is a back protector always included and backpacks do not go well with back protectors.

as already mentioned, ION arcon chest is the best chesty in the game and it's not even close. I swear every other chest pro design in the industry doesnt believe riders have ribcages...

Yonatan also tested the ION Nico Vink for us, sounds like it may match what you're after: https://www.vitalmtb.com/product/guide/body-armor/ion/arcon-hd-pro-ches….
