As someone who basically only rides park (yeah bro) and has done so on bikes with and without water bottle cages, I appreciate not having to stuff a water bottle in the waist of my pants to stay hydrated. Bottle mounts all the way!

The other side of that coin, he has been with TLD, Monster, Deity, and other brands for decades. Yes, he has been on a variety of bike brands, but he has also been racing and competing since like 2002 or something.

I say this as a guy who only owns an enduro, but why not? It's great to get to the bottom of the trail and head right back to the lift instead of going all the way out to the car for a sip. Now, in racing situations, I can see why you might not want the extra weight.

One of the best things I ever did was drill into and insert pop rivet bottle cage mounts into my Yeti DJ.

There's a big difference between racing 6-8 times per year as we are now vs. racing all year. Professional racers should be able to make a winter series work with a short (1-2 month) break in the fall shoulder season and then another short break in the spring shoulder season before the summer series. I would prefer that the "winter series" is in the southern hemisphere to catch their summer as you mention though. Each series should be at least 10 races. Riders are already skipping major events as it is, but I think that's just part of our sport...

How else are you supposed to carry your lift sodas?! No harm in having some bottle bosses in the front triangle for whatever you want to carry. Far better solution than any kind of pack for bike park days

Last...would love to know why there are water bottle mounts on all their DH frames. I'll take the answer that it's for mounting a computer to for DAQ/telemetry as the ONLY acceptable answer.

There is also an entire hemisphere where DH and enduro racing can happen when the north turns into winter. Just as skiers go ski glaciers or go to the opposite hemisphere for endless winter, MTB racing can do the same. A lot of the racers already do this to prepare for the World Cup. Teams, riders, sponsors, and BUDGETs need...

Meh, sour grapes from Brook. They didn't do a "Breaking" post for every ride/rider/signing. Get over it. And if you really want people to talk about you win some races or a championship?

Making parts for Lotus ≠ good design. It's gaudy as fuck. The anodisation for anodisation's sake, seemingly nonsense graphics and big flat faces aren't in the least bit appealing to me.

I give this a thumbs up, not because of the situation, but the honesty that Evil is handling a very unfortunate situation. Its nice to see while they maybe Evil in name, they have a bigger heart than some other brands.
