Every time I see a new flat pedal come to market I almost go blind from eye-rolling.

I quite like this. Looks like a fun hardtail to use at the same trail center riding the same blues you see guys with SB160s on. Edit: I quite like this outside the price.

I put together a (certainly incomplete) list of MTB manufacturers who make at least one legit MTB model. I am at 103. That is wayyyyyyyy too many slices of pie. It's no wonder so many won't survive. Do you remember when it was impossible to get a mountain bike with decent spec? You used to plan to spend 50% more on replacing tires, grips, brakes, bars, stem, adding a chainguide and single ring, dropper post, etc. More than 103 companies making a legit model is bananas.

I was going to say the same thing.... if you go to the Squids IG it is clear it si part of a big throwback story post.... amazing how EVERY social post always has some hidden meaning.

Bikes are not just their suspension layout. They are a sum of all their parts. I believe that the new optic and sight are going to be really good bikes.

jsut because one rider follows another, or a team, doesnt mean they are changing teams. at the end of the day these are all riders following their buddies on social media. no different than the rest of us. we all shoudl stop worrying about who follows who when it comes to team rumors... unless there is an actual "can't wait to be on the team with you" i wouldnt look to far into a like or comment on someones post.

if intense factory racing isn't intense factory racing because intense isn't a sponsor, that means intense factory racing is shutdown/dissolved/whatever you want to call it. even if there is a team w/ the same management/players, it won't be called intense factory racing therefore intense factory racing ceases to exist, right?

The bike industry is in the shitter, for sure. I’m still surprised any company can sponsor an enduro racer at this point. The coverage is almost literally nonexistent. No return on investment. Most companies are blowing out their bikes at crazy prices. I don’t see where sending a racer(s) around the world to race their bikes can be financially possible. They can’t sell enduro bikes based on results and race coverage if the coverage is refreshing a website to see who’s winning then getting a highlight video after the race. Couple that with the state of the industry. Can’t be...
