I’m gonna disagree. First off. No one is watching WC downhill that isn’t a huge fan of Mtbs already. Making the broadcast 30-60 minutes isn’t gonna change that. It’s hard to even find the broadcast if you are looking for it. No one is stumbling across it. So let’s not pretend making it shorter will bring in more fans. My two cents. I like watching “second tier” riders right along side the pointy end dudes. Especially when you get to see a rider develop over a few seasons. The rider that starts to qualify more regularly, then becomes a top 15-20 dude, then top 10, and finally a podium threat. I like to see this on the same courses as Loic and Jackson, it gives me scale. I love WC racing, I pay to watch. I am not going to suddenly start paying close attention to IXS Cups. I’ll look at the results of a Monster Energy Series race...

fwiw, adam (the "money guy backer") was at the venue every day moving lumber, signs, cords, spray paint, dirt, tools, boxes etc. he was covered in dirt like all the crew, in addition to hosting riders for meals and gatherings at his home. he was anything but hands-off.

Dude, we know you don't like Vorsprung's distributor model, and without Vorsprung here to lay down their opinions its now sounding like someone screaming into the void. I'm sure Vorsrpung has fairly good reasons for why they wont sell to you, and why their website store allows you to select every country under the sun. My guess is that they set up a Shopify store with the basic settings and got on with their lives. Now can we get back to talking about the performance of various coil shocks.

V+R Racing is just two mere peasants (well, a nurse and a medical device engineer). When we started out in 2019 the two of us were just buying DH bikes for junior riders who needed them. Many seasons and many riders later, we had two world cup DH juniors in '25 with one finishing second overall and the other finishing 10th overall. We obviously can't afford our own team, but we can still be a hat/helmet sponsor. I'm still driving my 16 year old car - it just comes down to priorities for us. And we're proof it doesn't have...

Hi all, I'm the 'Gosling' being referenced in the Bikeradar article. I had meetings in Les gets with five teams, YT being one and I'll start by saying that Gunnar Franke (Team Manager) is one of the best guys in the pits running a great team with awesome riders and staff. However we (Nukeproof) don't have the budget to go from 'no team' to one of the best, and highest budget teams in the pits when today we are not even selling any bikes. I also feel that we are not the type of brand that wants or needs one...

I disagree. I don't think after months and months of testing we would have uncovered more about the bikes that would offset the extra time/cost we'd have put in. To be clear, this was not a scientific test. Also, I'm not sure what kinda budget you think we got over here but it does not include months of testing in a bike park. The goal was to put down a timed run on a familiar track after we had each bike setup and feeling comfortable to see how times compared against how we felt on the bikes. And to help...
